Subject: [Leverage Christmas] Get paid to publish your next book

With Christmas only 3 weeks away your relatives must be thinking about Christmas presents and you're still in time to send that letter to Santa! What should be in it?

Tell them you're crowdfunding your next book! It takes skill and time to run a crowdfunding campaign and you'll be best off if you take a course before you do it but there's never a better time that December!

Every successful campaign starts with family and friends. You will make their lives easier if you just send them a link to your campaign saying their support is your Christmas wish!

I did just that a couple years ago and ended up with a VERY generous Christmas gift!

Here's what I suggest.
  • Study how to best run a crowdfunding campaign. I documented everything I learned here.
  • Identify people who will be gifting you with presents. Swap those socks for a pledge!
  • Cash in a handsome fund for the publishing of your next book!
A few tips:
  • It's a good idea to run your campaign for 30 days. Too short - and you won't build up momentum, too long and your potential backers will lose a sense of urgency.
  • Start mid December. Just in time for those presents!
  • Start with a lower goal and use stretch goals. Everyone likes to achieve goals. If you start with a lower one ($1,000 as opposed to $10,000) you will be able to achieve it easier and backers love contributing to a successful campaign.
  • Offer enticing perks. Make sure your backers will get a good value for money, there's nothing more motivating than a great reward!
Rock this Christmas and rock next year! Who doesn't like extra $$$?

Some things really work and some things are a waste of time. But you don't have to waste your time to learn. Learn on my mistakes.

Go here to take the crowdfunding course: and rock your holidays!

To your success!
