Most KDP advice tells you to find an underserved niche.
Then everyone goes and looks in the same three places, finds them thoroughly served, and concludes the whole thing is saturated.
Here's one that genuinely isn't, and the reason is a bit awkward: most writers won't touch it, because writing Christian fiction well means understanding a reader whose expectations are quite specific and who will tell you in a review when you've got it wrong.
Which is exactly why the readers outnumber the writers.
