Most online sales have the same problem - You announce a deal, send a few emails, and hope enough people take notice before it's over.
and there's nothing particularly wrong with that, but what if you gave people a reason to come back every day instead?
That's the thinking behind a rather clever little WordPress plugin called the Not-Just-For-Advent Calendar
It lets you run a promotion where a new door opens each day, revealing a different offer, bonus, freebie or whatever else you fancy putting behind it.
A bit like those Christmas advent calendars, except you can use this one all year round.
Black Friday? Run five days of deals.
Launching something? Reveal a different bonus each day.
Got a collection of products gathering digital dust? Give each one its own day in the spotlight.
And here's what I particularly like - you can set each offer to disappear after 24 hours, or leave everything available until the promotion ends.
So you get to decide whether you're running a relaxed giveaway or something with a bit more urgency.
The plugin handles the daily reveals automatically.
No messing about changing pages every morning.
No complicated coding either.
Just add your offers, choose the dates and let it do its thing.
It's not going to magically make people buy things they don't want.
But if you already have products, bonuses or affiliate offers worth promoting, it's a smart way to make the whole exercise more interesting.
And with Black Friday coming up, the timing's not bad either!
