JV Farms
 Update  8-19-15
Chicken Tractor Remodel
This week we have been working on rebuilding the chicken tractors. Changing the old, metal-topped ones we've grown chickens in for the past four years to the hoop top. They look like covered wagons...Chicken Wagons!! The white sign tarps work better and keep them much cooler.
Mixing it Up at the Feed Mill
We have been very busy at the feed mill. We unloaded a grain truck full of oats at 4 am last Thursday and mixed feed until 2 pm this Monday. Folks are anticipating the weather coming in today, and it's getting dry so people are starting to feed more. Also....winter is just around the corner. The animals know it.
Monthly Meat Share
We have also been busy signing people up on the Monthly Meat Share. Excited to see some new faces signing up.  Enrollment will be during  the whole month of August, with the first delivery/pickup in mid-September. Delivery options are available.

Whole share is $100 per month with 16 pounds of pork, chicken and beef and half is $50 per month for 8 pounds of pork, chicken and beef. *Each month will be different!* Maybe we should call this the Meat of the Month Club!!

Example of a full share:
2 whole chickens, bacon, breakfast sausage, link sausage, chops, ground beef and fajita/stew meat

All members will receive 10% off additional orders of other JV Farms goodness when available.... eggs, milk, pork, chicken, veggies, berries and JV Farms events.
