The second full moon this month (on Sunday 31st) begins the build-up of energy into June, which may be experienced as an inner tension - whether provoked by external circumstances or inner emotions rising. Truth seeks to emerge - the Truth of You as loving honesty, not perfection. It is the push to distinguish between where we are still attached to identities that were always designed to be transcient or temporary, and the deep, eternal nature of who we are.
The signal of Truth and the desire for transparency is getting stronger by the day and it becomes easier to perceive the essence and energy of what is not in alignment - whether within ourselves or others. Hence the theme of this full moon class and energy focus on Sunday : Truth, Transparency and Transcience.
In the early hours of this morning, I gave up struggling to sleep and got up out of bed to get some cooler air at the window (the still, hot air in this UK heatwave has been challenging, especially at night!). My timing couldn't have been more perfect as I spotted a beautiful badger, strutting down our suburban street looking very purposeful! It was a delightful sight that immediately brought a smile to my face and almost made the endurance of a sleepless night worthwhile. Thirty seconds earlier or later and I would have missed him!
Of course, being now wide awake, I immediately then looked up the meaning of the badger and this is what came up :
"The badger symbolizes strength, persistence, and self-reliance.
It is often associated with resilience and the ability to dig deep,
both literally and metaphorically, representing the importance of
standing your ground and maintaining inner strength. Other descriptive words include : Tenacity, Perseverance, Healing & Endurance, Guardian and Protector, Fierce Defender, Grounding and Independance"
I found the meaning so relevant for these energies and what went through my mind, were insights into 'Defending Truth', not giving up, allowing the transformations that result in deep healing, not allowing yourself to be 'badgered' by others and being clear on your boundaries, anchoring deeply into and recognising the power that your True Self actually is. There was more, but the alignment with current energies and themes was so evident!
This Full Moon brings a profound
invitation to leave old baggage behind and recognise the culmination of
inner and outer stories that began unfolding around December 2025.
Emotions may feel amplified, beliefs may be challenged, and restless
energies may stir beneath the surface — yet within this intensity lies
an opportunity for deep clarity, expansion and liberation........Strength and Independence.
The badger as an animal symbol will form an important part of Sunday's full moon class as we focus in on Truth, Transparency and Transcience (I could add Tenacity to that header!)
Nature is an amazing teacher if we allow ourselves to listen deeply and trust the subtle impulses that enable us to experience the love, magic and beauty of what is around us all the time!
