Exploring the Role of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
in the Printing Industry
Do you use key performance indicators (KPIs) to
monitor your print production?

Many companies do, but the use of KPIs across the printing industry has not been universally adopted or well understood. As a result, Printing Industries of America has embarked on an effort to identify which production-oriented KPIs are most commonly used, how they’re calculated, and to what extent printing companies depend on them to improve performance.

We ask you to please participate in our study by completing a short KPI survey—approximately 10 minutes in length. In return, you'll receive a copy of survey results. This valuable resource can be used to explore other KPIs that you may find helpful for your company's improvement strategy.

This study is being conducted in conjunction with partner associations in U.K. and France so that we may compare and contrast how U.S. and European printing companies use KPIs as well. Please note: y
our company data will be considered confidential.

We greatly appreciate your help in gathering data as we complete this study and help all printing companies benchmark their use of KPIs.
