Don't Just Lead — Innovate
The new age of graphic communications is here. It’s impossible to ignore it. Ensuring profitability in a time of change is not an easy task, but luckily, you’re not alone. Join your fellow business leaders at the 2018 President’s Conference to share ideas, discuss the latest challenges, and learn how you can juggle the demands of your business, employees, and clients.

This year we have brought together a fresh, new program for the 2018 President’s Conference. You will enjoy the company of your fellow business leaders as we listen to futurists, thought leaders, and business operations experts talk about what it will take for your business to grow and adapt with the next wave of the graphic communications industry.
A Message from Chairman Bryan Hall

My Fellow Print Leaders:

It is an honor and a privilege for me to serve as your 2018 Chairman of the Board of Printing Industries of America. What an exciting time to be involved in the printing industry!

I am cordially inviting you to join me in San Antonio this March for the 2018 President’s Conference and experience what I consider to be “best of the best” in continuing education geared exclusively to print business owners and leaders.

Check out this year’s speakers and content; you will be impressed! The PIA staff has assembled an amazing lineup of futurists, thought leaders, analysts, and business experts, all of which will share what it will take to adapt and grow in our changing industry. Many of our speakers are from outside of our industry and have never presented at a print-related event before. I’ll even be co-presenting a session myself on a topic unfamiliar to most printers—ESOPs.

Leading and managing a business is by no means easy and no one person has all the answers. That is why it’s important to take time out of our hectic schedules to gather new ideas, learn essential business knowledge, and spend time sharing ideas with our peers who understand the challenges that we face each day. I guarantee you that you will see an unbelievable ROI on your of time and money to attend this great event.

Grab your boots and meet me in San Antonio!

Meet Feature Keynote Speaker Ken Rutkowski

Ken Rutkowski is the co-founder of the #1 business radio talk show in America, the nationally syndicated “Business Rockstars” heard on over 185 radio stations nationwide, reaching 3.5 million daily listeners. Considered the first of its kind, the program gained rapid growth of listeners and sponsors, becoming the place for entrepreneurs and “wantra-preneurs” to talk about all things business. In 1995 Ken created the podcast when he worked with Mark Cuban and his groundbreaking internet radio format. Today, Ken is the host and creator of the new syndicated show “Voice of Disruption.”

It’s hard to predict the future, especially if you’re still struggling to figure out what’s happening in today’s business landscape. But this is exactly what Ken does by showing what business will bring within the next six months to ten years. Using rich statistical data coupled with insight from his interviews, Ken brings the future of the business world into today’s grasp. Knowing what “will be” gives any executive an extra edge up on their competitors, banking on opportunities to capitalize on what generally is hidden from the masses.

Future Trends in Printing, Business, and Media
Monday, March 5, 8:30-9:30 am

The greatest challenge for the printing industry is not just keeping its current customers happy, but anticipating the needs of its future consumer base. Every printer in the future, whether they know it or not, will be a software company. Not only will the entire operating environment become software-defined and virtual, software will shape the way the enterprise defines its very identity. The key for future success is predicting the program code for the customers by taking cues from other businesses that have reprogrammed themselves.

This year we will also host a special Women's Leadership in Print reception and panel discussion in conjunction with the 2018 President's Conference. Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel. All women and allies are welcome to attend. Light hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served.

There is no additional cost to attend. To RSVP, please select the reception as a part of your conference registration.
