Subject: Today's guest tips (not me!) from THE best around...

Hello Friend

No Tips from me today (yes yes I can hear the relief!) but instead I will defer to the best tipping service I have ever come across, and I don't say that lightly. They are. Plain and simple. I've yet to find better.

I should have sent you their tips yesterday as Ian and his team at SP2A focussed on three races, finding two winners at 11/1 and 7/1, from 6 bets in total. Decent. (two of those races included the 1-2 and some tasty forecasts)

That built on the +199 points or so that Racing To Profit readers (those that took up the exclusive 3 month trial) had made since October 1st.

Over +£2000 to £10 per point bets isn't bad going!

In the next few days there will be the opportunity for you to take up this special offer again, for 3 months through to the week before the Grand National Meeting - so it will cover Cheltenham. If you've been looking for a daily+weekend race adviser service to follow/add to your portfolio, you would be mad not to give them a go. But, more on that in the days ahead.

For now, some tips/write ups... over to Ian...

Having spent about 4 hours on The Welsh National, I have to be totally honest and say we have spent about 90 minutes on The Paddy Power Chase.

However, we don't see value in the 2 market leaders who are Polidam and Squonateur; both have reservations about proven stamina; and although both should win if seeing out the trip, at the current odds with extended places to 5th/6th we don't think great value.
OSCAR KNIGHT ticks every box really; has form on the Going; has good Course form and perfectly comfortable at the trip too; he was 3rd in this last year, tiring close home, but lost a lot of momentum and used a lot of energy to recover places after stumbling mid race; if he gets a clear passage and luck in running today, he has to go very close on that run and subsequent form.

We are always fearful of horses like Bonny Kate; Space Cadet and especially think that Potters Point who has good form in this type of race and who might be slipping back to a nice mark and Pleasant Company; who has very good form fresh and who if fit can be very  dangerous; could be real dangers here; and the latter two, are definitely tricast perm material.

Of the rest we would mention On Fiddlers Grenn; General Principle; Phils Magic; Thunder and Roses and Baily Moon as horses who could run in to those 5th/6th places on offer and Ucello Conti will surely come on for the run for targets later on.

The other two selections though are APACHE STRONGHOLD and FOREVER GOLD. Forever Gold is the one with proven stamina; he needs a strong pace and should get it and can be "hovering up" down the straight; he has fair form at this trip and if the race  falls apart, is one who is fully fit and good Course and Distance form to boot. APACHE STRONGHOLD is a bit of a forgotten horse; a very good Hurdler and Novice Chaser; is coming back from injury lay off, but 2 runs should have it fit and if you look at second here to Don Poli at this meeting last year; well; if it could run to 95% of that performance, could be thrown in off this mark and early PP 50/1 is not to be missed....

So we suggest a 1/2 point each way with enhanced place odds to 5th or 6th on the 3 selections and if you want a Tricast Perm add in Potters Point and Pleasant Company. That is the final ELITE SERVICE tip of 2017. We won't be tipping on Saturday  but will return on Saturday 6th January, with probably 3 races (if the WELSH NATIONAL is rearranged) and definitely two!

The Daily Tip is  from Robin at Wetherby; here is his logic-:

I think that Pshycoandy and Spoils Of War are a bit short price wise with stamina and form respectively to prove. The higher weights do look a class above some of these although the likes or Broadway Belle; and Poetic Presence and very solid if limited and may run on in to places with odds to 4th everywhere. The 2 who most interest me are FLEMERINA who will enjoy a return to softer Going and after a little break looks ready to deliver on undoubted scope, with a handy 5lbs Claimer taking some weight off. FINAL FLING  comes back hurdling off a very competitive hurdles mark; didn't really take to Chasing, but fit as a result of 2 Chase runs and Rose Dobbin is always one to follow when horses switch codes Chase to Hurdles or vice versa. Both are good e/w value.
