Subject: Tick Tock - Let The Festival Fun Begin!

Hello Friend

Cheltenham Festival 2020

It's around now that my brain starts to focus on the Festival, certainly from a research perspective.

As usual at this time of year i've posted a 'Cheltenham Festival Ante-Post Chat' blog for those of you who like such things. I'm not a big ante-post player but a few of my readers/members are. There's 19 comments already with a look ahead to March and you may wish to flick through them - and indeed add any of your own thoughts, which are always welcome. Always a good read, and there's also some chat about preview nights, and some links in the comments which may be useful.

Also in that post are various links - there's a review of my Festival Week 2019 which was posted at the time and an old post looking at 'how to find handicap hurdle winners at the Festival'

Free Stats/Trends/Pointers...

I've also posted last years Stats/Trends/Micros report from 2019. 30 pages posted full of stats and trends, mainly focussed on the 13 or so races I target/tip in during the week, inc the handicaps.

All of those links are in the master Cheltenham Ante Post Chat post HERE>>>

As with every year there will be some sort of Festival Offer where you can just dip into the blog for a couple of weeks, covering the Festival, if you so wish.

This will be the fourth year i've attacked the Festival in the members' club with the pressure that entails. As always there are my opinions (tips) but plenty of stats work/comments etc you can use in your own punting.

Over the last three Festivals my tips have pulled in +99 points in my 13 target races, with a couple of bonus winners in the Midlands National on the Saturday at 25/1 and 16/1. Around +140 points or so. Quite good fun for £2.5/5 bets. :)

Last year the official tips lost 13 points which wasn't great but I was due a below par year. My 'through the card' selections somehow managed to pull in +36 points - I should have just tipped those!

Anyway, it's one of my favourite weeks of the year, just because it's the biggest challenge/puzzle, and we shall see how I get on this time around

All the best

Josh
