Subject: Re: Important - My Approach To Cheltenham 2016 & What It Means For You

Good Morning Friend

It has taken me a while to get excited about Cheltenham - (is it just me who finds the months and months of endless talk and speculation rather boring?!) - but safe to say I am now in full 'Festival mode'.

I thought it would be useful if you knew what to expect on the blog next week. So, I have written a new post which I urge you to read HERE>>>

Whether you plan on following some of my tips or not, I think you will all get something from it. This article...

  • Has a quick look back on my previous two attempts at the Festival on the blog
  • Discusses my 'Cheltenham budget' for the week and a race by race guide of where this will be spread - the races I intend to bet in, and those that I will leave alone.
  • Finally it runs through my 'big race checklist' - step by step of my approach to analysing a race, using the tools at my disposal. This is as much a reminder for myself but I thought some of you may find it interesting.

Free Magazine...those that signed up to Free Racing Tips should have received their Cheltenham magazine by now. It is an interesting read and has a large focus on the Grade 1s - my focus will be mainly on the Handicaps so I found it useful.

Anyway, there are no catches here, just tell them where to send the magazine (all 32 pages) - Ge Yours HERE>>> (oh and also get access to their very profitable free tips, with reasoning)

Cheltenham Preview...

On Monday I went to a Cheltenham preview near Aintree and it was great fun. If you missed my review of this, you can read it HERE>>>

I took a fair bit away from it and think you will too when reading this post. RUKs Oli Bell even got in touch saying it was a great read! Trainers Ben Pauling and Charlie Longsdon were there and in great form. (the beer helped!)

And Finally...

19 year trends and stats for The Imperial Cup are up on the blog. If you like attacking races this way then hopefully these help. You can read that HERE>>

Phew, I think that covers everything for now. I am about to watch plenty  of videos from last year's Festival (esp how pace plays out on the Old Course vs New Course) and turn my eyes to the Gold Cup, which I want to get out of the way before next week really gets going - with a going caveat of course)

Have a great day,

Josh

p.s I know there is a lot there, but try and find time to read those articles -set aside some 'racing reading' time this Sunday :) I think they are all worth a read, but I suppose I would say that! You can access all of those posts here>>>
