Good Afternoon, Friend
I hope this email finds you in good form and Happy Mother's Day to all mums reading!
Aintree Festival Tipping Competition
Something a bit different today and a 'first' for us. I've always run the odd tipping comp in my members' club with cash prizes, and we run the odd one for our Racing To Profit Syndicate Owners also.
However, we are excited to launch our Aintree Festival Tipping Comp which will be unlike any comp we have run before, and we've opened it up to all our RTPS owners, those on my blog, email list (that's you!)and free telegram group.
Thanks to a fellow RTPS owner Paul Miller and some friends, who've been running competitions for nearly a decade, they have created the "Racing Stakes Manager" (RSM) tool, which we will be using for our competitions moving forward.
Skill, Strategy and Racing Glory...
This will allow us much more creativity during the competitions and most importantly provide you all with a better experience and bigger challenge. We have historically run competitions which are settled purely to £1 win bets to SP. That changes now, with RSM you can select two horses for each race, with a notional £5 stake per race you can split however you wish, including each way.
This means the competition will not just be won by those who pick the most outright winners. Big priced places and the stakes you use will now also be the determining factor. A true test of your tipping skills!
You can find out more HERE >>>>
The above summary details what is it, how it works, and much more.
EG, How it works:
- 3 days, 7 races per day
- Stake £5 on 6 races, £10 on one special race of your choosing(NAP)
- Pick up to 2 horses per race, Win or Each-Way (EW)
- Place terms follow bookie odds (1/4 for placings)
-Winning odds determined by Industry SP
- Leaderboard updates live after each race
THE PRIZES...
For the paid game, it costs £10 to enter, £8 of which goes into the prize pool, with the top 3 players come the end of Day 3, taking home to the prizes. We currently have 33 players, so a prize pool of £264 and growing, with a max of 200 players.
If we can get to 200 for these comps in time, that's going to be a prize pool of £1600 split between the 3 winners, obviously the person in 1st taking home the largest chunk. It's all good fun, but with the chance to win a nice bit of cash also.
There is a 'free' game, and you can select to play that for fun/kudos, but any cash prizes are reserved for our RTP Syndicate owners only I'm afraid! :)

Aintree Festival Competition 2025
In order to take part you will need to complete the registration form no later than 6pm on Monday 31st of March.
YOU CAN DO SO HERE >>>
Entries will close at this point.
Once you've added your details on that form (make sure your email address is correct), just sit back and we'll do the rest/be in contact.
You will receive a link to your google sheet by 3pm Wednesday 2nd April. As well as a link to a short explainer video. My syndicate partner Jay took part in a test competition during Cheltenham and whilst his selections were rubbish, the form and experience was great with the result going right down to the last race of the festival.
We will be offering a cash game as well. It will cost £10 to play with £8 of your entry going directly to the prize pool and £2 being used to cover admin. When you complete the google form there is a box asking if you wish to take part in the cash game. if you select no, you will just be competing in the free comp/kudos, if you select yes you will receive a second email with instructions on how to make payments and you will be entered into both the free and paid games. Payments must be made prior to Thursday's racing.
Just keep an eye on your inboxes on Tuesday/Wednesday.
It is very easy to use the google sheet that allows you to pick your horses per race.
You need to enter the name, but most importantly the number of the horse you are backing. You then need to enter your stakes.
You might pick two horses and split them evenly with £2.50 win on each, or you may go £5 on the nose of one, the choice is yours. Each day you can choose one NAP race where you can spend £10 on stakes. It is up to you which race you choose and like with the others you can split that stake over one or two horses however you see fit. It will become clear when you have the form and the short explainer video.
