This generally fires in a few shorties with the odd decent priced winner - on Saturday this angle highlighted two horses, inc the Betfair Hurdle winner who won at 33/1 SP, and an incredible 110/1 BFSP! 

I know a few of you, and some of my members had a go, for beer money - which is the right way to attack these 'monthly' trainer angles. Start small, £2s/5s and hopefully build up over time. Still, £2 or £5 on a 110/1 shot isn't a bad return! I thought said horse was hard find on paper but that's where trainer habit angles come in - no need to over think 'form/profile' etc. 

I post the qualifiers in my daily members' posts and since the start of September the 'monthly' trainers are now around +151 points to BFSP - obviously helped by that biggie but they are solid without it.  Clearly there's plenty of fun to be had for small stakes and i'd best try and find a profitable trainer or two for March. I'd take them averaging 60 points a year but they'll no doubt have a losing run now. 

There's still most of February left and hopefully Nicholls, along with my other trainer for this time of year (Sue Smith) can continue to fire in the winners.
