Subject: 🟢NEW Weekly Guest Post + Golden Mayflower

Good Evening, Friend

I hope you've had a great day. I wouldn't usually email at this time of night but I'm travelling early tomorrow and thought I may as well email out now.

Before I touch on our Golden Mayflower, there's a new guest post up on the blog...

What follows are some thoughts on Friday’s flat action, from Sam Derby. Some of you may know of him already. In the past he’s produced bits and pieces for ‘Geegeez Matt’, but mainly works for the Surewin platform, as well as running his own successful flat tipping service. I’ve met him a couple of times, he’s a top guy and he knows his stuff. I also like how he writes and conveys his thoughts. I usually learn something..

For now, I’ll pass over to Sam… CLICK HERE TO READ HIS FIRST POST, & THOUGHTS ON LINGFIELD >>>

Golden Mayflower... (4.25 Lingfield)

Below you can find my video preview sent to Golden Mayflower’s owners. I'm sure they won't mind. They received some written notes of sorts also – were she drawn lower I’d be a bit more bullish as she’ll need a fair bit of luck from 12 and her race could be won or lost in the first furlong.

However, at her best, and on her best course efforts, I think she could be the best treated of the 4YO+ handicappers in this and I’d expect her to be bang there against those, with luck in running. The issue could be those lurking 3YOs who receive a chunk of weight, headed by Appleby’s short priced fav. I don’t think she’s bombproof though but could win well. Charlie Johnston’s is interesting at a price also, although I hope this track may be too sharp, but Joe may be aggresive. The other two 3Yos look up against it, to my eyes anyway!

So, an interesting contest. GM needs to break better and will need to either come around horses or through them, and hope those up front come back. Lots of ifs! At home her work suggests she has the pace for 7f, her efforts on course leave us scratching our heads as to her best trip. She does have a deadly 1.5f burst of speed, just a case of what conditions/race set up, allow her to deploy it most effectively. She’s got some decent AW form for us this year, the Lightship form 2 starts ago is strong.

We’re hopeful of a big run and hope she can be in the shake up- if being close enough to strike from 2f out. It is only a matter of time before she wins, so, here’s hoping!
