Subject: Monday Motivation: Haydock Paddock Notes + Stats Snippets

Good Afternoon, Friend

I hope you've had a great weekend and maybe found a few winners?

There's a few bits and bobs for you to flick through down below that may help you land on a winner or two moving forwards, including exclusive paddock side notes from Saturday's Haydock meeting, from resident RTP pro punter Adam Norman

Going by my inbox and twitter replies, it looks as though a few of you took note of my Venetia Williams 'November' research and backed her two winners at Ascot on Friday, at a tasty 9/1 and 13/2 SP. Nice.

It looks like being another profitable month for said angle, 3/12,6p so far, +8.21 Beffair SP. (+6 betfair place market) There's still eight days to go though and with any luck there may be a couple more winners lurking.

If you missed that free post, you can find it HERE >>>

One final shout out for my Sean Bowen research also. The first 'official' qualifier against the angle I homed in on won at Exeter yesterday, 9/4 in a three runner race, another inspired ride. There's plenty more to pick up in my video also, but you can find all that HERE >>>

More Williams Winners

I've had a better few days than I have been having on the winners front. In truth this season has been a struggle at times, for all x30 2nds/3rds haven't helped, nor 7 falls/UR/BD, but thankfully from three picks on Friday I landed on 14/1 and 13/2 winners, to lift the mood.

I didn't get involved on Saturday, but Gavin Priestley landed on Jersey Bean, at a nice 24/1 BFSP. As you know I licence his Winter Trends content and post on my blog, all good fun and winners like that always help.

Sunday I had a couple of placed efforts, including the agony of St Erney being overhauled in the final 100 yards, by a Nick Williams trained horse.

There's something about being a 'Williams' - Venetia's in form, Christian is having a good time of it, Evan a big winner on Saturday also.

Husband and wife Nick & Jane Williams have been flying along also. They run horses under their own names, but they're based at the same location. I assume they train, plot and plan as one team at home by I'm not 100% sure on that, or whether they're in charge of their own strings and do things differently with each.

In any case, Nick's last nine runners: 1, 10, 3, 1, 5, 5, 1, 5, 1,

Jane's last nine runners: 1, 2, 1, 7, 10, 4, 8, 6 , 1

They do very well with what they have and are going along well at the moment. Nick's horses had a quieter time of it last year, but 10/63, 23p all runners so far in 2021, which is decent. A team worth keeping an eye on, as is the horse that did for me at Exeter, Favori De Sivola.

I wasn't sure if he'd be fit but got that wrong! Provided his wind stays sound, he's worth keeping on the right side of I think and there could be more to come this season as a staying chaser, all ground comes alike to him it seems and he stays further than 3m.

To Haydock...

Adam Norman's exclusive notes are going down very well with members, and I now flag any runners/their notes each day, for ease of reference.

As John R remarked, "I would just like to say how much I like the new layout of the site, really well balanced, a bit for every body"

They're a brilliant 'way in'. Adam goes track-side pro punting 2-4 times a week and takes notes while he's there, to help in the future. I post them every Monday /Tuesday. Last week he went to Catterick, Hexham and Haydock, which I've shared below...

Notebooks/trackers at the ready...

Haydock (Nov 20th)

12.10

Barrichello; On toes and sweating, loads of size and will make a nice chaser.

Sonigino; Nice sort, athletic but a little unfurnished at present. Good sort in time.

Haute Estime; Big frame, leggy and unfurnished at present, shaped well in decent race.

*

12.40

Truckin Away; Big, strapping chaser, looked pretty straight, probably wants much softer.

Eclair Mag; Lengthy, a bit weak in front at present. Fit.

Silva Eclipse; Will probably improve again, wants softer ground.

Chef D’Ouvre; Should improve for this seasonal debut.

Defuture Is Bright; Active and alert, good bone. Looked fit and well. Jumping could be better and a bit softer may suit.

Furious De Ciergues; Light framed and leggy, big effort from a young horse, and it may leave a mark.

Amateur; Sturdy sort and travelled well into the straight, likely straighter next time.

*

1.15

Tommy’s Oscar; Lengthy, chase type, plenty of size. Really well in coat, very sound jumper.

Thibault; Active sort, enough size for fences. Looked well and ran right up to best.

Our Surprise; Very laid back in first time hood, medium sized and likely no better than average type, although looks a stayer especially as he settled better in headgear.

Calico; Medium, quite compact, might make a chaser. Ungainly head carriage and a bit to prove.

Lignou; Strong sort, fit enough but looks high in weights.

Wicked West; Keen looking with two handlers, looked well but could tighten up and do better although high in weights.

Mackenberg; Plain looking chase type, strong. Probably wants to go over fences.

Christopher Wood; Very sturdy and got warm, probably not fit.

*

1.50

Bravemansgame; Quite nice type although nothing special to look at, likely to keep improving with time.

Itchy Feet; Close coupled but has strengthened up, just lacks scope at this level and needs to win to allay fears over attitude.

Pay The Piper; Medium build, room to strengthen. On toes and ran a very sound race. Could be worth a go at 3m at some stage. Do better next season.

Alnadam; Nice horse, well made. Might have needed this and possibly being lined up for a decent handicap on soft.

*

2.25

Stoney Mountain; Looked well and although acts on ground, this was an insufficient test.

Orbys Legend; Nice type, good size although a bit unfurnished and sure to make a very nice chaser next season.

Bass Rock; Strong, medium build but should make a chaser, has come on physically a good deal in last 12 months. Can win again.

Flight Deck; Decent chase prospect, should be better served by softer.

Gladiateur Allen; Very strong individual, robust. Can do better.

Riggs; Fit and well, ridden closer to the pace and every chance, ability will be possibly summed up by new mark.

*

3.00

Bristol De Mai; Looked in great heart but ground was too lively.

Waiting Patiently; Looked very fit but has plenty to prove.

Royale Pagaille; Loads of size and may have needed the run, fair effort and better on soft.

Chatham Street Lad; Loads of size and scope, not out of place physically and mark seems fair.

*

3.35

Strictlyadancer; On toes and looked in great heart, type to relish even further.

Empire Steel; Tall, big frame still unfurnished, likely to prove pretty useful given stamina test.

Ramses De Teillee; Looked well, honest sort that loves softer and stays well.

Mr Muldoon; Medium build, strong, looks badly handicapped in this grade, may not stay 3m.

That's all for today, hopefully I've shared something useful/informative,

All the best,
