Subject: 🎄Merry Christmas; Boxing Day Scoop6

Hello, Friend

Firstly, may I take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and an enjoyable Festive Season. For us racing fans in particular, we always have plenty to look forward to.

Below there is news on the Boxing Day Scoop6, with entries into 'the Scoop6 Squad' closing at 9pm this evening.

The last time I emailed out I was off to Plumpton. My 'through the card' effort was a bit drab, I think the 4th or 5th blank I've had with those in the last couple of years, but that's the game. A couple ran ok, the rest may still be running. I don't mind that as such, but I wasn't that close to any of the winners which also annoys me.

In any case, our day was really all about our bonny little terrier in Shandancer, who built on his Southwell hurdling debut and ran a cracker. Had they jumped the hurdles up the straight he may have clung on for 3rd but he still ran a credible 4th. We shall see what the handicapper does. I suspect he's bumped into some ok sorts the last twice, and many of them cost a fair bit more than he did. He may need one more run to get a mark but evidently he will be doing his winning when stepped up in distance and running against horses of similar ability in handicaps.

It's very exciting when you own a 'trier' , many horses don't have his mentality, and that's going to win him his fair share of races and keep us excited every time he hits the course. There's room for improvement in his jumping also. In any case, he's looking like a great buy at what as £10k in a private deal and Amy has transformed him physically and mentally, as expected. His owners had a great day out and we were well looked after at the course, even given some bubbles for his 4th place, which went down well.

If you'd like to own a winner in waiting who's going to give you many fun days out, do get in touch :)

He should be out again in January, as will Golden Mayflower who makes her RTPS debut, most likely at Lingfield. Amy is confident her latest wind op has done the job and if so, we're going to have lots of fun with this lightly raced, proven winner. Some of her old owners have jumped on board with us also, knowing there's unfinished business with her. (again, still time for you to join in the fun there also)

Oh, and we may also throw Kaleb into the Challow Hurdle at Newbury on the 31st, having a Grade 1 runner will be fun. That promises to be an exciting day. It's all go. Exciting times.

Below there is news on the Scoop 6, in the meantime, have a great Christmas Day and I'll be in touch again soon,

All the best,

Josh
