Two things for you today and if I'm being honest the second won't interest most of you but if you like matched-betting (and have the mindset for it- I don't) there's a chance to make some risk free cash this Christmas.
Before I get onto that, I have been digging in my HorseRaceBase account looking at Willie Mullins...and specifically his runners at Leopardstown + Limerick this Christmas.
If you focussed on... - Mullins / Leopardstown / Limerick (meetings that start on 26th)
- All Non Handicaps
- GB + French Breds Only
- NOT Aged 4
In the last 3 years... 40 bets / 21 wins / 28 places (inc wins) / 53% sr / +52 BFSP
Now, clearly plenty of these go off very short.
But those that were 5/2 or bigger SP are 6/14,7p, +49 SP
Those that have NO previous career runs (in the UK/Ireland, ignore French form), within the rules above, are 5/6,6p, +20 SP
And those that 0-5 career runs in total (again, just in UK/Ireland)...
23 bets / 15 wins / 18 places / 65% sr / +30 BFSP
With any luck some of you can put those stats to good use. They will find plenty of winners and any qualifiers may be ideal for those of you who like fun multiple bets or playing the placepot etc. And he does have what you would call 'decent priced' winners within those rules above, so don't be put off by those at a price.
In the last 3 years he hasn't done well in the handicaps and the Irish Breds/ 4 Year Old both lose a lot to SP. There are plenty of winners but in general they are not worth bothering with, systematically at least.
