Four qualifiers tomorrow. 

I will be sending a separate email with links to some results shortly, as well as some more new profiles to add to the team. 

Ideal Cond. C4 or below, 1-11 runners  

Form in Cond. 1,1,3,1,4,1,1,2,6, 1,1, 3,2, 4 (0/7 1 place outside) 

Positives. She has her conditions again, 2/4, 3 places over course and distance, going, trip, rest pattern etc all fine. 

Negatives. Well she has yet to run outside of her conditions this season and the profile is starting to look a bit imbalanced, coupled with the fact that she has won twice in her conditions this season. She is now 1/8, 3 places in Class 4, as against 5/8 in class 5, suggesting that maybe that class 4 win was a bit out of character. OR77, is now 3lbs above her highest wining mark. The fav beat her last time out, although no two races are the same and she is now 0/2, 0 places at Newcastle. 

My Verdict. 1/2 point EW 6/1. I think she will run well, I am taking an easier option here - for me personally she has won me around 9 points this season (wins before launch) and it is looking that she may be more comfortable at a lower class, and the mark is looking a slight concern for win purposes. I will give her one more go. If she hadn't won for me already it would be a 1 point win bet at those odds i think.

4.45 Catterick Solar Spirit 

Ideal Cond. Catterick; 6f or 7f; Class 4<£6k; 1-30 days; OR81 or less
Form in Cond. 2,2,1,4,8,1,3,1,9,1,1, 3 (0/71, 20 places)

Positives. He has his conditions and adores this venue, so much so that he can win at class 4 (<£6k) where his overall record in the class reads 2/32, 8 places.He is handicapped to run well and is in form. He also has Franny Norton on top (1/6 overall on horse, 0/5 in handicaps) which is never a bad thing in my opinion.  

Negatives. He is drawn in the carpark but he is a versatile runner who can be held up. He may hit trouble in running but that is the chance you take. There looks to be plenty of pace in the race which should help. He is 3/9, 7 places in class 5, and maybe at this age that is the level he needs to drop into. 

My Verdict. 1 point win 9/1 general (10/1 places, 12/1 BF sportsbook) Given the formline above I have to back him to win, confident that over the course of a season at this track he will be profitable to follow. He has been running well to suggest he will go in at some point. Indeed I thought he was coming to win last time out - maybe Franny can make the difference.

4.45 Catterick Keep It Dark 

Ideal Cond. 1-15 days; 11 runners or fewer ; OR 80 or below
Form in Cond. 1,5,2,5,1,1,6,1,8 (0/22, 7 places outside this) 

Positives. He has his conditions and has won at the track. Handicapped to win and jockey is 3/19, 8 places on him. He can win from this mark. 

Negatives. He isn't in much form, although excuses could be made and we have seen that before. He is a bit of a tricky customer who can throw in the odd very poor run. He is currently unfancied in the market and is 0/9, 2 places 14/1+ . He is 1/10, 2 places in class 4 (all other wins class 5) but that win was in these conditions. 

My Verdict.1/2 point EW 22/1 general. I will take a chance on him and if he runs into a place at worse it will be an ok return.

6.30 Leopardstown Strandfield Lady 

Ideal Cond. Leopardstown; 10f; May-August

Form in Cond. 8,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,11,5,2,4 (3/60, 16 places outside)

Positives. Has her conditions and there do not look to be too many excuses.Although getting on a bit now she was good enough to run two very good races in conditions last season, in competitive races.  

Negatives. None, bar her ageing years but she still looks like she retains ability to win. 

My Verdict. 1 point win (market yet to fully form 15/2-10/1) Hopefully she can put up a good show over her favourite course and distance.
