6.30 Wind Rocket Rob 

Ideal Cond. 5f or 5.5f; OR 80 or below; C4<£6k or below

Form in Cond. 5,1,1,2,1,1,1,2,2,7,1,3 9 (1/39, 11 places outside) 

Positives. He has his conditions and in three runs at the track has placed twice.  He is 3/8, 6 places in C5. He is now very well handicapped. All race conditions fine. 

Negatives. Well he is well handicapped because of a lack of form. He missed the break last time and was stuck out wide, and never looked to be asked for an effort. A line can be drawn through that. He is a money horse it would appear, all wins when 8/1 or below. 0/19, 4 places 17/2-20/1. 

My Verdict. 1/2 point EW 12/1 (PP/WH) or 10s general. Given his form and the fact there are a few well fancied unexposed horses in here I think an EW bet is the safest option. Those 4 places were between 8/1 and 12/1. If he is backed that would be a good sign and it would be nice to see him return to some kind of form, which he will do at some point no doubt.

7.45 Carlisle Cool Baranca 

Ideal Cond. 1m6f+, Soft 

Form in Cond. 2,1,2,1 (0/27, 4 places outside) 

Positives. Has her conditions again and stays well. Running over 17f here which she has placed over on the flat. Not got the greatest turn of gears which is why all her winning form on soft on the flat I suspect. 

Negatives. Well she is yet to win in C5, 0/12, 2 places, but has only run once at C5 in her conditions, which was a 2nd (beaten 3l) Also 0/13, 4 places when rated OR 51-60. 

My Verdict. 1 point win 7/1 (PP, WH) 6/1 general. The ground could well dry out by this evening and if it changed from Soft that would be a concern as she can get outpaced. (0/10, 1 place Good to Soft) However if it is soft I expect her to run her race and has yet to conclusively prove she cant win in this class or from this mark when getting a true test of stamina in soft ground.

-True Pleasure (8.15 Carlisle) Every run this season been in 'conditions' and she has them again here, but has done her winning as a member of the team, and it is now hard to tell what is a profile and what isn't with her. Hasnt won for last 6 starts.
