Ideal Cond. 8f or 8.5f; Good to Soft or better; OR80 or under Form in Cond. 4,1,7,2,2,1,1,3,1,6,1,1, 2, 3 (0/20, 1 place outside)
Positives. He has his conditions and has been running well in them this season, the 2 being an agonising head defeat at 20/1. A line can be put through his last run based on class and ground.
Negatives. No real concerns to my eye. He is 0/4, 1 place at the track, but the place was over CD. We have seen he can run well when a big price. He is only 1/15, 2 places when 12+ runners, however that may be down to the competitive nature of such races, rather than not liking bigger fields.That would be a niggle however.
My Verdict. 1/2 point EW (20/1 William Hill 4 places) Only 4 bookmakers have prices up at the moment with a range from 14/1-20/1. With 4 places to aim at, and given his consistency, he deserves some support and can hopefully run another decent race in his conditions. Hopefully there are no further non runners which wil reduce the places to three.
