Hello Friend

Well it has been a disappointing start to this adventure but thankfully yesterday's 2 20/1 winners have lifted the mood and profits, following on from Divertimenti 10/1  a few days ago. The old veterans have helped us out and hopefully we can build on this moving forward. I know one subscriber got 35/1 BFSP on Mission Impossible and another had a £2EW double on the pair, so he has had a good weekend! 

I do need to update and go through results but after the missed 20/1 winner the other day (i advised a no bet!!) it is now  becoming apparent that a 1 point win bet on all horses with conditions would now have you in a decent enough position - rather than strictly listening to 'my verdict'. But, that is something for me to reflect on again at the end of the month.

Anyway, there is a long way to go yet this season but hopefully we can find a few more decent winners.  

2.25 Ripon Chosen Character 

Ideal Cond. 1-15 days, C3<10k

Form in Cond. 1,1,13,3,3,1,1,2,4,1,1,10,14,1,7,9 91(1/37, 12 places outside) 

Positives. He has his conditions and has a decent record on soft and heavy, as well as Good to Firm, so no problems with the ground. He is drawn low and usually likes to front run or be prominent so track position should be fine. 

Negatives. Well he has been in and out of form but his best run this year came on soft and this is the first time he has returned within 15 days this season. (7/20, 10 places, 1/32, 13 places at other times) He is 0/4, 0 places 16+ runners but a few of those were over 6f and some in a higher class, so the jury is still out on that. These are ideal conditions. 

My Verdict. 1 point win 12/1(general) All wins 8/1 or under but has placed at bigger odds. I am tempted to go EW with 4 places but 1 more non runner and there will only be 3 places. Hopefully he can bounce back to form.

-2.25 Ripon - Green Howard (ground and class questions) Kalk Bay 0/9, 2 places 30-90 days rest 

-3.00 Ripon Ambitious Icarus - After winning within 7 days again lto his rest profile his not as pronounced now. 1/27 over 6f, never won above C4, 0/6, 0 places 16+ runners. Fast Shot - 0/16, 4 places after July. Nameitwhatyoulike - 0/10 0 places C2. 

-5.10 Newm English Summer - done job for us now, 0/8, 1 place 16-30 days rest

-5.55 Donc San Cassiano - hard to predict but most consistent 1-7 days. 5/12, 8 places 1-7 days, 5/45, 10 places at other times.
