-2.50 Thirsk Mercers Row - usually peaks in May and did so this year. However this is second run for a new trainer,and he ran well LTO. 

-3.25 Thirsk - Ambitious Icarus - after his recent win what was a clear rest pattern doesn't look like it any more. He does have his 'old conditions' here, but he is 1/28 over 6f, 0/3, 0 places track, 0/6, 1 place C3, 0/7, 0 places 16+ runners, and he is on a career high mark. So plenty to overcome, albeit if he built on his penultimate run he would go ok no doubt. There are plenty of negatives to overcome though. Anotherwisekid- 0/17 6f in handicaps, 0/10, 3 places OR 91+, 0/22, 5 places 12+ runners. 

-4.35 Thirsk - Kashgar - best in 16-30 days rest to date, comes here after a break, albeit all other race conditions look fine. 0/3, 0 places for this jokey

-4.40 Newc - Monel - 0/9, 1 place Newc, 0/15, 1 place OR61 +, 0/16, 2 places after July. 

-5.00 Good. Rocket Rob - 1/22,5 places 6f handicaps, (6/30, 16 places 5.5f or under) 0/9, 1 place on Good to Soft or worse - 0/3, 0 places on soft. This is an 'easy' 6f, and he ran well for us LTO behind a more progressive horse, with the rest of the field beat. He hasnt proved himself on this ground but if everything falls right can run ok over this trip. 

-5.50 New Jungle Bay - 0/14, 2 places C4. 

-5.55 Ham - Gold Beau - all wins on Good to Firm

-6.15 New - Imperator Augustus - won for us LTO, when dropping into C6 (now 4/6) He is 1/15 in C5, and 1/8 in C4, all recent wins in last few years have been in C6, and that is when best able to predict him now. But, all race conditions fine and he races wide all the way round LTO, losing plenty of ground, and still winning, so a decent run would not be a surprise if he maintains his form.

-6.25 Ham - Economic Crisis - 0/20, 3 places above C5

-7.30 Ham - Dark Ruler- yet to win above C4, although has placed a few times - 0/8, 5 places C3, 0/12, 5 places beyond 10.5f, so a few things to prove. prefers it soft. 

-7.45 Good - Uncle Dermot - K Fallon used to be the way in, unlikely now. He has been running well enough and race conditions look fine. 

-8.05 Ham - Goninodaethat - July/Ayr horse, has done his job for us. 0/22, 5 places after July to date.
