Ideal Cond. Good to Soft or worse, C3 or below Form in Cond. 1,2,10,2,8,6,2,1,1,1,1,5,2,1 8 8 10
Positives. Well he has conditions again and is 3/11, 6 places on Soft. After some indifferent form he is now very well handicapped, and even more so with the jockey claim. He was poor LTO but the headgear is removed here (maybe he didnt like it) and drops down to 7f which he has won over. He also drops into C4.
Negatives. Well his form is poor but there are a few things there which could results in a better showing.
My Verdict. 1 point win 16/1 (BV/WH) 12/1 general
Evanescent
Ideal Cond. Sept/Oct, LH, C4 or below Form in Cond. 1,1,9,1,2,3,1
Positives. He drops in class here and this is usually the time of year he runs better. All race conditions are fine.
Negatives. Well none on paper really. There have been bits and pieces of form this season.
My Verdict. 1 point win 14/1 (BV/WH) 12/1 general
There are 4 places to aim at in this race but I will stick with win only.

2.20 York -Silvery Moon - a tricky won having won for us already this season. He gets 1m here (+110yards) and is returning within 30 days - but he is now 1/21, 7 places in C2, 0/5, 1 place OR91+, 0/8, 3 places at York. But, all race conditions are fine and he is in form. If running like he did LTO he may have a say. On balance I was just happy to leave him. He is now 5/9, 6 places in C4 - and looks like a class dropper to follow.
4.55 York - Kalk Bay - best in august but a more tentative profile.0/10, 2 places Sept/Oct. Sunraider - best in june, also stamina to prove. 0/7, 1 place 7f. 0/4, 0 places on Soft.
