Well I hope you ignored my verdict yesterday as English Summer drifted to 6s and won cosily again. I clearly didn't expect to see such an easy win and was clearly too cautious,trying to protect the profit he had already made us. In truth my final decision making in all things racing has been poor for a few weeks now so best take 'my verdict' with a large pinch of salt. Apologies if you followed me again. 

4.35 Carlisle Silvery Moon 

Ideal Cond. 1m, returning within 30 days

Form in Cond. 1,1,3,8,3,1,5,1 10, 4 , 1

Positives. He has his conditions again after demolishing his field LTO. That was in C4 but he has won in C2, and placed numerous times in C3. All other race conditions look fine and he is 2/3, 3 places over CD. 

Negatives. He is 0/3, 0 places when OR91+, but those three runs were not in these conditions, and were over further. All wins when 8/1 or below

My Verdict. 1 point win 11/2. I see no reason why he wont give it a good go. He would have won with 6lb more on his back LTO, and although this is a better class,he should be competitive.

5.10 Carlisle Ellaal 

Ideal Cond. Paul Mulrennan riding; Class 5 or below; Right-Handed

Form in Cond. 1,1,2,1,3,2 3

Positives. He has conditions again and most race conditions are fine. 

Negatives. Bar his inconsistent form which is a concern he is now 0/11, 0 places with 12+ runners. He also likes to lead and there are a few front runners in here, namely Royal Holiday and Venutius. All wins when 8/1 or below. 0/17, 2 places when over 8/1. (currently 12/1) 

My Verdict. 1/2 point win 12/1 (bet365) Another tricky one, and my decision making with these has been poor. There are pros and quite a few cons but at these odds it may be wise to have something on. He does run well here and a bounce back to form is not out of the question.

Non Qualifiers 

-3.35 Donc -Relight My Fire- 0/10 on Good, stamina to prove and 013, 0 places 12+ runners. WordismyBond - did tend to peak in August, didn't run in that month this year. This is the legends race so anything could happen I suppose. 

-4.35 - Dream Walker (0/17, 6 places on Good/Good to Firm, all other conditions fine) Ingleby Angel (0/6, 0 places RH, 0/17, 1 place undulating tracks) Ralphy Boy - his profile has gone now really. 0/10, C3. 

4.45 Bondi Beach Boy - likes Beverley but has won away from there. Confessional - unpredictable but does like Haydock. 

5.10 - Fazza - the ground is the concern with his, 1/15, 1 place on Good to Firm. All other conditions fine and bar that would qualify. Only 1/16,2 places RH also.
