+43 points in just 8 days... will it continue?
Firstly, my thanks to the 1790 of you that Google Analytics tells me have read the blog at some point in the last week, and the 400 or so who stop by at least once a day. It's much appreciated and keeps me getting up in the morning.
As always the aim is to offer content which adds positively to your racing experience. And a place where you can comment away - some of the usual names have been landing on a winner or two in the comments. There's always a bit of chat to flick through at the bottom of each post. Do join in. (all polite thoughts are welcome!)
With that in mind, an update on how my new stats content has performed... I spent part of lock-down wistfully staring out the window (and re reading Nick Mordin's work and others) pondering how I could improve my stats content/research.
That led to various new reports & ideas including... I've been posting the qualifiers against those reports, and with yesterday's 28/1 BFSP winner for the 'Dutch Art Filly' micro... since the start of the season the official stats 'qualifiers' are...
28 bets / 9 wins / 14 places (inc wins) / +43 BFSP / +£86 to £2 bets (which isn't a bad place to start if wanting to dive in)
With any historical research there's always a question of whether it will work in 'real life' - it's very early days, but it's a positive for the future - and does mean the daily stats content is now worth flicking through.
Monday's content usually follows first thing in the morning but the rest of the daily posts are up the evening before, by 6pm.
I know a few of you have dived in with small stakes and have had fun so far. That's the way to do it. There were also 12/1 and 25/1 winners not included in those results above that some of you backed. (not me sadly) Top work.
So far so good but it's only a start...
