Subject: 2.55 York + shares available in Blessed (come and join the fun!)

Hello Friend

A couple of things for you today. Below there are some thoughts on the 2.55 York but before I get onto that, there are some shares available in Blessed To Empress who I own 5% of, and who won for us at 16/1 LTO. She runs again today at Yarmouth...

...if you wanted to dabble in the thrill of racehorse ownership, this is a decent opportunity. Ok she's no world beater but she has a great race attitude as we all saw at Chelmsford a few days ago and she will race plenty over the coming months, meaning any shareholders get plenty of opportunities for days out at the races etc.  She will add to her two wins to date, i'm sure of that. Blessed is in training with Amy Murphy at Newmarket who is a breath of fresh air, down to earth and has time for everyone, especially when you're track side.

The shares run from 1st May 2018 to 30th April 2019, and 2.5% will cost you £1000 for the year. There is the option of monthly payments. The fees cover all training, vets, jockey, entry and facilities costs. The share is a full share meaning you receive 2.5% of all prize money accumulated over the year as well as 2.5% if the syndicate decides to sell Blessed come the end of the year. (we think she may be worth around 20k already as a broodmare)

The guys who run the syndicate are first class and you'll receive regular updates, videos from Amy and full race previews/reviews every time she runs. There are owner days at the yard and if your're in the area and give forewarning, Amy doesn't mind visitors. I have never experienced anything like Chelmsford, emotionally, and it's fair to say i'm hooked. This is your chance to join a great bunch of people (plus me! :)) who know how to have fun at the races and get the most out of their experience.

By all means send me an email if you're interested/have any questions, but the main man you need to contact is Jay, who you can email on whitediamondracing@outlook.com or call on... 07501101379  .

She has won twice for us now and is sure to give us all plenty of fun in the next 12 months. She does get her head down and battle and combined with her prominent running style should ensure a few more thrills yet at C5/6 level, on both turf and the AW. She is a great syndicate horse.

Blessed runs in the 6.00 Yarmouth on Wednesday. Sadly I can't make it but she should give her running again. Turf shouldn't be an issue but she does have that to prove. It may be that she just enjoys an all-weather bend, but she should be up there for quite a way in this. It is a 3YO only handicap so no weight-for-age allowance, and there are a fair few unexposed sorts lining up so we shall see. She looks to be a decent EW poke at 12s, 4 places, and i'll have another nibble, although not a bullish one! (this will be much tougher than LTO)

If you're interested, drop Jay a message and he'll get back to you. See you track-side soon! :)

Onto York...

2.55 York

This is not a tipping piece, given I don't have much of a historical record in such races to go on, more an info piece to use as you please - a mix of trends/stats/trainer pointers/shortlists etc...

10/10 aged 4-6 (0/52,4p aged 7+)

10/10 had 5 or fewer career runs (0/49,7p had 6+)

10/10 had 0-4 handicap wins (0/45,6p had 5+)

those stats give you 10/100,30p in the last decade and leave a working list of 8...

Gin In The Inn / Private Matter / Golden Apollo / George Bowen / Ower Fly / El Hombre / Quick Look / Dark Defender

9/10 were sent off 14/1 or shorter SP (1/83,8p, bigger) so you could use that as a focus point

Claiming jockeys: 0/27,5p

Trainers of note: Fahey (0/24,7p), K Ryan (0/15,2p) , O'Meara (2/6,2p), M Easterby (2/6,3p)

PACE... all looks to be high to me...Flying Pursuit and Ower Fly are the two out and out front runners in the race, drawn 15 and 17. The stalls are in the centre I think so it may all depend on what the jockeys do and whether the field splits to either rail, or stay up the middle in one group, which would give those drawn low more of a chance I think.

My four fun pokes at the odds would be Ower Fly / Quick Look / Golden Apollo / Dark Defender

I'll probably put some change on at BFSP for a bit of fun.

Use that info in any way you please, if at all.

GL with any bets,

Josh
