Subject: 🏇15/2 All-Weather Tip + Hot Form Horses to Follow

Hello Friend,

I hope you're having a great week so far and the weather isn't causing too much disruption. Obviously we've been without jumps action for a few days and the noises for the rest of the week are not overly optimistic.

With that in mind I've a couple of things for you today. First up you can find an All-Weather tip from friend of the blog and flat/AW expert, Gary B over at Always Back Winners.

You can then find x3 chasers to add to your trackers - what I'm calling 'Hot Form Horses to Follow'

First up - to the sand, and a guest tip...

Gary's in solid form this winter all-weather season, already +21 points in profit from 1 point EW bets, looking to add to the +72 points he made this Flat Turf season. He remains one of the best daily flat/AW handicap tipsters I've come across, pulling in +1029 points on the turf in the last 7 seasons. +£5,145 to £5 EW bets isn't too shabby!

As has always been the case for you good readers, you can get an 80% discount on your first month...

TIP : Kempton 18.00 – Got No Dollars – 1 point Each-Way – 8/1

Stuart Williams gave us a nice winner the other week with Revolutionise and hoping for the same again tonight. His charge GOT NO DOLLARS had an excellent winter campaign on the polytrack.

Two runs back on this surface has seen him record improving RPR’s and faired the best of those who ran up with the pace LTO. Drawn wider tonight expect a less forcing ride and the long run in on the outer loop does give the hold ups a chance. He’s a 50% placer on the AW and gets a useful 7lb off from claimer Rose Dawes, who also has a very decent 6-36 on the all-weather.

There’s plenty of 15/2 to record with bet365 going 17/2 with the extra 4th paying place.

Hot Form ‘Horses to Follow’

I thought I’d use some of this time to flag some recent ‘hot form races’ and horses that may be worth keeping an eye on/added to your trackers. These are races that have produced subsequent winners and may indicate ‘strong form’ – horses that finish in and around subsequent winners are always worth keeping an eye on.

It indicates they’ve run in a race which was competitive, with in-form horses and up against well handicapped rivals. It may indicate they themselves are well handicapped as a result. In addition, not every race is as competitive, simply a ‘repeat’ of their effort in said ‘hot form race’ may be enough in other contests.

Such horses are only ever a useful ‘way in’ but it’s often information that can take the rest of the market a little while to factor in. It’s certainly information you have to dig for, not readily available in the mainstream.

For the following, I’ve used HorseRaceBase and the ‘hot/cold’ race tool feature. (Geegeez has a very good ‘what next’ feature within the daily racecards, which are invaluable also)

For now, I’ve just focussed on Chases…

Representing Bob –

  • Hot Race: 2.59 Uttoxeter, 14th October.

  • Horses to have run subsequently: 11 runs / 5 wins/ 8p (inc wins)

Bob was 2nd this day, the winner taking this off OR112 and then following up easily enough off 125. The 3rd and 4th won their next starts, the 5th won his next two. As Class 4s handicap chases go, as solid as you can get really.

Bob was beaten 15l on this run but it was his first start of the season. He has run since, at Exeter, sent off 2/1 fav. That was 24.5f on Good, hard ridden from 6 out, staying on strongly all the way to the line in 2nd, front two well clear. He was carrying 11-13 and may not be the biggest. The 3rd from Uttoxeter, Midnight Glance, beating him this time in 1st Cheek Pieces. Bob’s wins last season came with cut in the ground, it could be he wants softer and/or further – he did shape this day as if worth a crack over 26f+ and that 28f+ could be in range one day.

He clearly has his level off 109 but is only a 6YO, 3/6,6p over fences. There’s no doubt he has more wins in him and will prove himself well handicapped at some point. He could be worth a go in some headgear also, to help him travel better/hold a position, for all no issues over his attitude.

Barrichello & Llandinabo Lad –

  • Hot Race: 3.40 Uttoxeter, 28th October

  • Horses to have run subsequently: 7 runs / 3 wins / 4p (inc wins)

This race is developing into a decent little novices limited handicap chase, all unexposed over fences at the time. The first and second from this race (Thunder Rock & Brief Times) bolted up on their next starts. While they were only doing so in small fields, there’s clearly some substance to the form and evidently arrived into this Uttoxeter race well handicapped. The 5th from this race won his next start also, returned to hurdles.

Barrichello – beaten 4.7l at Uttox, on his first start of the season, he’s run once since, sent off 2/1 at Bangor, 2m4f, on heavy ground. He was bang there 2 out before fading, beaten 7.5l. Having stayed this trip fine over hurdles, it could be the ground found him out, all his career wins to date on good-to-soft. For all I wouldn’t want to pigeon hole him too soon, it may have just been an off day or this Bangor race will turn out to be solid form. He was a solid hurdler, 4/11,9p, and you’d think there has to be handicap chases in him. His jumping could do with sharpening up but he’s worth keeping an eye on given the above, especially if better ground helps him. Or maybe a stiff 2m is more for him.

Llandinabo Lad – he was a 6l further back behind Barrichello here but was sat in second until 2 out, before appearing to get tired, again on seasonal return. He’s since run once also, again over 2m at Carlisle in a novice chase, bumping into the unexposed Bass Rock on chase debut, who was last seen winning a C2 handicap hurdle. That could turn out to be solid form also. LL was a decent novice hurdler, including a listed win at Haydock, before appearing to lose his way last season. His ideal trip is an unknown over fences at the moment, his hurdles wins over 16-17f. It could be as a chaser he’s now worth a go over further , as he stayed on at Carlisle. He has shown enough the last twice to suggest there are handicap chases in him from this sort of mark, especially given his earlier promise as a novice hurdler.

p.s If you fancy treating yourself this Christmas, we have a few shares left in our new Flat/AW filly, Golden Mayflower (pictured above). The response has been great and a couple of her old owners have jumped onboard also, knowing there's unfinished business. You can find out more HERE >>>  Don't miss out, get in touch asap. She should make her debut in our silks next month, exciting times.
