Big Race Trends/Pointers: 1.50 York

A sense some of these handicaps do not have the depth they once did in terms of ratings, many 85/90+ handicappers sold abroad these days of course, last year had the first winner of this rated below 92, the previous x15 renewals all 92+.

However, Aged 4+, 2-6 runs prev 90 days, ran in last 30 days, AND rated 92+ (a blank last year) would have found 15/16 and IF upholding would point to five. Two are claimer ridden, 5lb+ claimers yet to win but small samples…

Trefor, Jordan Electrics, Vintage Clarets (c), Roman Dragon, Tees Spirit (c)

Trainers (to have won race/with runners)

  • Trefor

  • Spring is Sprung

  • Vantheman, Bergerac, Mon Na Slieve

  • Copper Knight

  • Tatterstall

With any luck the trainer angles help you find a few winners this week and help you come out in front, in what is usually a very tough punting week.

As always, best of luck with any bets,

Josh
