I'm off to Southwell shortly to cheer on our Littletown Lad, who I hope can run on into a place, and if you can place, you can win. He is very well handicapped, but needed a wind op after handicap debut LTO, when he cruised around, looked like he may win, and then stopped! We've fixed that, but today very much a case of building his confidence back up and setting a foundation for the rest of the season. I hope he runs on into a place, and if bang there, he will be trying to win, but it won't be long, assuming we have sorted him out. He is thrown in, only a matter of time with any luck.

Tomorrow I'm off to Beverley to cheer on Coolree, a winner last Monday, attempting to win tomorrow's race for the third year in a row. It is only 8 days on, but if he runs his race, he will be bang there.

Great is new to us, bought out of Richard Hannon's, only 4, only 7 runs on turf, unexposed, with bundles to come in the seasons ahead. 

He ran a fine race in 3rd on his last start , and third run, for us, up at Pontefract. He was trapped wide the whole way and never got a breather in. He has taken a big step forward at home and is a winner in waiting, probably with a more patient ride, coming through horses. 

We hope to run at York on Friday, it may be touch and go whether he gets in, but we have other options at Carlisle, Ayr and Newcastle. He will be running in the next 2 weeks, and a win isn't far away. He's a lovely horse and one we are excited about moving forward.
