Subject: 🏇 Wednesday's x3 Horses of Interest

Good Evening, Friend

Below you can find x3 horses of interest for Wednesday's racing, and with the first kicking things off at 5.40pm, hopefully there's enough time for you to ponder them.

Our Sir Canford ran well at Uttoxeter on Sunday, not helped by an awful start where he was distracted by a horse who veered across the field, also causing another one to barge into him. We wanted to track the pace but after the first were near the back. Thankfully for those of us who had a decent go EW with 4 places, Sam Twiston-Davies tends to ride everything as if he's in the Gold Cup, or it's his last ever ride.

That effort confirmed the horse needs further, 2m4f the next stop, but not impossible he gets 3m at some point. A visor will also be tried also, just to help him through the middle part of his races and to concentrate on his hurdles. Hopefully he'll be winning next time, but it won't be long. He tries and wants to win, which is worth plenty in this game. Sam's feedback video was very good and if you missed it, can watch it on my twitter feed HERE >>>

One more thing... before I get to my three pokes on Wednesday... friend of the blog and all round good-egg, Kieran Ward, has been sharing some decent content in the last few days, including a short video outlining a simply strategy that takes just five minutes to learn, and could help improve your betting/profit.

There's no opt in required, you can watch this video, and the next in his series, HERE >>>

To Wednesday's racing and my 'horses of interest' ...

5.40pm - Tipp - Not Too Real Bad - 5/1 - EW 1/5 4 or 5 places

6.40pm - Tipp - Dazzling Spirit - 10/1 - EW 1/5, 4 places

8.00pm - Eps - Marley Park - 3/1 - win

Not Too Real Bad - the 'trainer /jockey combo' stats have lured me in her, Tony Mullins and Jamie Powell 5/14,7p, +28 SP together in the last year... they team up with this one, and Dazzling Spirit in the 6.40pm. I think this 3YO sprinter is well handicapped but is usually patiently ridden, needs them to go hard and then needs some luck in running. She fell out the stalls last time but still ran with credit, and her win three starts back was achieved cosily to my eyes, off the same mark. She's the only horse to have won a race on her last three starts which is a positive and now drops into an Apprentice Handicap for the first time, with one of the more experienced pilots onboard. They can go hard in these races, a few jockeys unable to keep hold of their mounts, which would be beneficial. Hopefully 5s is an EW play to nothing with 5p up for grabs, if she breaks on terms and gets a run, I can't see her being out the places. I think she wants decent ground so a deluge would be unhelpful, a mixed forecast as I type. One for the trackers though if not winning this as I think there's another handicap in her soon when it all falls right.

Dazzling Spirit - this mare drops into a race facing her own sex which may help. She can get fractious in the lorry to the races as she can in the premlims and the stalls - as such she's the sort who when everything goes well pre-race could just pop up, when on paper seemingly 'out of form'. She hit form at the back end of last season with some decent efforts in big fields. Her last two efforts have been ok, especially as she's fallen out the stalls - most notably last time, when giving up so much ground but still making a big effort into 5th. I think she may laugh at this mark at some stage, when it all falls right, including breaking on terms. As such she is risky. Do note that her x3 career wins to date have been in September and October, so maybe she takes time to 'come into herself, or she likes a bit of juice - she does appear versatile ground wise and won't mind what this is. Again she could need them to go hard her but with luck in running, she will be running on. 10s allows the dabble, especially with 4p up for grabs. But, like her stablemate above, worth tracking, they both have more lower grade handicaps in them and both appear in form at the moment. Hopefully Jamie can get the job done of one of them... he is 3/7,4p on this mare and gets on with her well. She does wear a 1st time tongue tie - that could be a reason for improvement, or a reason for a shocker, we will see!

Marley Park - I thought 3/1 was just about ok here for this course specialist, a 'horses for courses' horse - 3/10,9p at Epsom, all career handicap wins here and we're now hitting his time of year. He drops back into a C4, having run well here again over C2 on Oaks day, maybe sitting a bit close to the pace, keen enough, but running on well. He does need a strong pace to sit off, but could get that here and may be able to angle out turning for home, charging down the outside. His last win here, in Sept 22, was off OR80, races off 81 here. A chance needs to drop a 1lb or 2 but that win was cosy and his effort last time suggested this mark was workable. Nothing in here looks to have matched the level of that C2 run last start, a repeat of which should make him the one to beat. Race tactics/race position/ no luck are what could beat him, but I think just enough there at 3s. We shall see. You may disagree! Jim Boyle's in solid form also.

As always, do with those musings as you please,

Good luck with any bets,

Josh
