Subject:Β πŸ‡ Today's Free Tip & Notes

Good Morning, Friend

A free tip from me below from my four pokes on my blog - we all know sharing these is the greatest of curses and adds another stone to their back and if I need the below to rescue my day, I won't hold out much hope! But one of these freebies has to win again one day...

9.00 Strat - Supreme Yeats - 1 point Each-Way - 8/1 (gen) (1/5,4p gen)

Supreme Yeats - another Skelton horse, and another handicapper who won the same race last season, and that was after a 128 day break and i can only think he's been aimed at this as well, surely he has. If he's fit/runs his race, I struggle to see him out the four, and thought 8s looked generous enough in an open/winnable contest to my eyes. This is only the 5th run for the yard but he'd won for the Morgan's off 102 previously so this mark of 100 is workable, for all 6lb higher than last year's win - but he did that cosily come the line, having bungled the last, in a race where they crawled which probably didn't help him. Some of his form has a solid look to it for the grade, including last time out at Worcester over 2m4f, which is probably sharp enough- he'll enjoy this extra 2f here, but he ran well, outpaced, stayed on well to the line, front three clear, and he split two subsequent winners there, the horse who beat him evidently lobbed in given his win NTO in a higher grade/mark.

The evidence suggests he's best fresh and sometimes struggles to back up, which further makes me think that they'll have him cherry ripe for this today. At 8s, with 4 places, I'm happy to pay to find out. A lack of market support would concern me slightly and I wouldn't want to see a drift, but 11/2 the field tells us this is open and they all have various questions to answer. Dan does well here, 12/35,21p in the last year, 5/15,8p in handicaps in that time with Harry up. The brothers are ticking along well in the last month, 7/23,11p in handicaps, and Dan won a hunter chase last night, to indicate the team are still in solid form. Fingers crossed.
