A big thanks to the 160+ of you who joined in with yesterday's tipping comp. There were plenty of winners flying around, with seven of you landing on the 22/1 biggie.

However, only one, Andrew Roberts, followed that up with two more, making him 3/4 selections, +30.75 points. A remarkable effort, and a big well done. His £50 cash will soon be on the way.

Thankfully Fontaine Collonges ensured a profitable day for me. I was fearing a blow out until Charlie came there cruising after 2 out - when Haydock is like that, you either handle it or you don't turning in, and Venetia's tend to relish it. I was a bit annoyed at picking the wrong one of two in the first race but that's the game. A welcome winner.
