Subject: 🏇 Red Hot Trainers To Follow?

Hello Friend

A quiet day ahead for me, nothing I really fancy on today's jumps cards, decent ground, small fields, cramped enough odds. There are no 'tips' in today's members' post, so I've flagged a few 'in form' trainers who may be worth keeping an eye on today and in the next couple of weeks. They can be a decent 'way in' and I've repeated them down below.

Before that...

With +41.49 points profit in January he's in fine form and fingers crossed he keeps it going this weekend. Another 20/1>40/1 winner like last Saturday would be welcome!

Looking at some ‘in form’ trainers as a ‘way in’ for today and the days ahead...

(i've used the excellent Geegeez Gold for these nuggets)

Down at Wincanton…

Jeremy Scott … has them in fine form, 3/10, 5p in the last 14 days, +7, 66% rivals beaten (against a 1 year average of 52%). They’re going well. He’s got three on today’s card and a few entered up in the next week, as they all have...

Chris Gordon... he’s flying along also, 4/17, 5p in the last 14 days, 58% rivals beaten. And…

Neil Mulholland… is he about to have a more sustained burst? A yard I’ve found hard to read in recent months. They did have illness issues due to a dodgy batch of hay but that was some time ago now, but I can’t recall a hot spell, more so ticking along. In any case, 3/15, 6p in the last 14 days, 54% rivals beaten. 1/20, 7p in the 16 days before that. They’ve generally been going ok, could be worth keeping an eye on in the next couple of weeks.

Up at Kelso…

Sue Smith is now hitting more consistent form, it could be plenty have taken longer than usual to get fit. 3/12, 5p +15 in the last 14 days, 50% rivals beaten.

Lucinda Russell’s… appear to have been ticking along for a while, 5/25,13p last 30 days, 65% rivals beaten, 1/6,4p last 14 days, 73% rivals beaten. In form.

And is Phil Kirby about to have a hot spell? Another yard I find hard to get a grip on, they’ve had plenty of runners… but now 3/15, 5p +5 in the last 14 days, although still only 44% rivals beaten, plenty finishing in the latter half of their races. But he was 1/26, 9p in the 16 days before that. There ‘could’ be a more sustained spell on the way. I suspect he’s a fair few well handicapped horses on his hands, just a case of getting them right!

They'll no doubt all fire blanks in the coming days, having missed the boat! But hopefully not. Something there to ponder anyway,

That may be it from me this week on the free email list, we shall see.

I'm off down to London on Friday, heading to Sandown on Saturday for our first 'Racing To Profit Syndicate' Hospitality Day. There will be 30 of us in a box and it promises to be a cracking day out. Three course lunch, afternoon tea. I'll be running a fun tipping comp also. We like offering social opportunities for fellow racing fans, and it beats sitting behind my desk all week.

Anyone who follows me on twitter may have seen that I've just bought an unexposed jumps horse from Ireland, with the plan to syndicate him. He arrived at Amy's yesterday and with any luck it will be a fun few months ahead. He's the first horse I've ever bought, exciting times.

They'll be more news on him at some point, and obviously I think he's a bargain! I can't recall being so excited, a game for the dreamers.

All existing 'RTPS' members will get first refusal, then the turn of those on my 'tell me more' syndicate email list (that's HERE>>>) and then you fine folk, if there are any left by then! :) Our first one sold out in 24 hours, so we shall see. It's the next step in trying to create the best ownership experience around.

Anyway, that's for another time.

GL with any bets as always,

Josh
