Subject: 🏇 Our Next Jumps Winner? Fond Farewell...

Good Morning, Friend

Introducing Fond Farewell... (a horse for your trackers if nothing else!)

I hope this email finds you in decent form. I'm emailing from a campsite near Mount Cook in the South Island of New Zealand, and it's around 8pm here as I type.

I'm just over halfway through my trip and I've been switching off as much as I can from racing. That's been a bit harder with our RTP Syndicate horses, runners galore, most running with credit in the places, Kaleb going agonisingly close losing by a nose. Tequila Rose will be winning soon after a very pleasing 2YO debut, as will Dixie Cowboy and Shandancer. Boom (ran flat) and Blazing Soldier (outpaced over 2m) are now heading off on their holidays and we can't wait to see them jump a fence next season, where they will really come into their own. (do watch out for them over a fence)

Getaway Glory was a decent winner for us, first run in our colours since we bought him from Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero - they said he'd bounce off decent ground and relish a fence, and so that proved at Huntingdon. I'm still not sure how he got up in time but there's bundles more to come over fences and hurdles.

I nearly lost my voice cheering him home at what was around 3am in the morning when in Aus. 12/1>7/2 the cherry on top of the cake - we sort of knew what we had, IF he jumped as he had been at home - he nearly went at the first! The great game.

We're in the process of Syndicating another horse with Greenall and Guerriero, a team going places, and we think this lad, Fond Farewell, is a great value buy. (do watch the video at the top of the email)

As with Getaway Glory, our trainers will be keeping 25% such is their faith in his future winning ability for us.

For those of you who may be interested in joining our 160 odd existing owners, and our 11th horse currently in training, do read on below - but in any case, read on and add him to your trackers!

It would be great to have you involved, which you can do from as little as £29.99 per month...

It's an exciting time with our RTP Syndicate and we can't wait for the coming months, don't miss out on our next winner with team 'G&G'

After the RTPS debut success off Getaway Glory, our first horse, first runner and first winner with Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero, we were more than intrigued when they told us about a new horse they had for sale - one who should be ready to run in around two months time, who's unexposed in all codes, and who they think could make into a winning hurdler and chaser - after a win or three on the flat first.

Team 'G&G' are very picky with the horses they source, as they need winners to make their business work (they don't make much from training fees) and they only have so much room - so when they buy a horse, they do so thinking they have upside potential and a few wins in them.

Fond Farewell - they bought this lad last October from Ireland, formerly trained by John Joseph Murphy. He's 1/9, 2p on the flat, has been consistent over 11-14f on softer ground, is often outpaced staying on, and the team strongly believe they can improve horses from this yard, as they've done previously with others. Evidently he has a winning attitude but with much more to come. He's a winner himself and is related to winners.

He's only rated OR50 on the flat which gives him plenty of headroom to add more wins. The team have given him plenty of time off since the sales, which they like to do with Irish and French imports, giving them time to settle in.

They also think this lad has needed time to grow and develop - he's a proper stamp of a horse (as you can see from the video), 16.2 hands, and while there should be staying wins on the flat, they believe he'll make up into a winning hurdler, and even has the size and scope for a fence in time. Exciting.

We're getting involved in a horse who's still at the start of his racing life, aged only 5YO, and is in the 'could be anything' category as a handicapper on the flat, a handicap hurdler and a handicap chaser in time.

He's the sort of horse we could have a lot of fun with. Days out racing and cheering him home to victory, with a great journey to enjoy as he progresses from the flat, to hurdles and hopefully fences. In this game, the journey is half the fun! :)

We've been mightily impressed with our trainers, G&G - how could we not be? They're very open, upfront, honest, tell it as it is, and want to train winners for us. Josh said Getaway Glory would take off on decent ground, had wins in him and would make into a solid chaser - so far so good! They like this new lad, he looks strong, active, has some size, and is thoroughly unexposed. He's just the sort they can improve massively, and progress through the ranks.

What's not to like? Don't miss out on our next winning horse trained by this superb team.

Other Information

Ideal Conditions/time of year: He'll be ready to run in around two months time... given his previous form and his size, he'll want some cut in the ground, and certainly when it comes to jumping, he'll be one for the main winter season. However, he will be ready to go at some point in July, so a question of picking his races, but he'll likely start on the flat, good to soft will be fine, and we'll try and fire in a few wins on the level first. He's won over 11f but he's a stronger model now (and G&G could improve him from his previous yard) and I wouldn't be surprised if he relished 1m6f or even 2m in time. That would suggest he could be a 2m4f+ horse over jumps, but we'll have some fun finding out!

The Plan: This lad should keep progressing with time but we'll get racing plenty, hopefully win a few on the flat this season, before he goes hurdling later in the year. He's been schooled and jumps well. When the time comes/the ground is right for him, he'll be handicapped over hurdles, before his form should take off when handicapping.

The aim's to have some fun, get some wins, and see how high he can fly. He's got the size for chasing, and all being well that will be his longer term future. We will get him vetted before asking for any money - we'd expect him to pass, as he's already done so for the team when they bought him and he's now training away just fine - but we'll tick that box as we did with Getaway Glory.

His RTPS Year will start from June 1st.

You'll receive the same communications as with all our other horses... WhatsApp (a broadcast group per horse for instant comms, and an all-owners chat group you can join), Weekly Emails and now The Racing Manager. (this is a fantastic website and App, which keeps you updated in real time with entries, declarations, Timeform race previews/reviews, all video replays and much more)

You'll also be joining our growing community of RTPS Owners, many of whom are now good friends and we all know how to have a good time. They'll be yard visits, other events and much more besides the days at the races. You'll be as informed as is possible in this ownership game.

The Cost:

The horse is costing us just £15 000 all in, including all sales costs, other costs to date and taxes. We think this is a great value price for a horse with this profile, now with a team who'll improve him bundles in all disciplines. The monthly fees...

1% = £29.99 per month x12 (£359.88 total) fees PLUS one-off capital = £150 (Year 1 total: £509.88 )

2.5% = £74.99p per month x12 (£899.88p total) fees PLUS one-off capital = £375 (Year 1 total: £1,274.88p)

5% = £149.98p per month x12 (£1,799.76 total) fees PLUS one-off capital = £750 (Year 1 total: £2,549.76p)

*bigger share % are available.

You'll be sent an 'Agreement' asap, detailing all costs and where every penny goes, and your prize money entitlement. You'll have the chance to request O&T badges each time Fond Farewell runs, and then we do the rest and sort everything out. If you can't make it to the races, we keep you well informed from trackside in our WhatsApp groups.

Oliver and Josh are keeping 25% and our existing owners have had first dibs on him.

That means there is just 20% remaining in this lad, so don't miss out :)
