Subject: 🏇🟢 Happy New Year & January Trainers to Follow

Good Afternoon, Friend

Firstly, a belated Happy New Year to you all! I hope you had a great festive period.

It's been a quiet enough time of it on the jumps from in recent days, what with the cold snap. It looks like Ffos Las will come to our rescue tomorrow, and the two Irish jumps meetings over the weekend look like being ok, if warming forecasts are correct. I did have a dabble at Taunton on the blog and managed to find a nice 6/1 winner in the last. A welcome winner, having had a bit of a losing run since the 12th Dec, as is to be expected of course! Back to +25 points since Oct 1st for the 'core' jumps season, and +95 since start of last year's Chelt Festival. We'll see what that pile is come March this time around, but I won't sniff at +10 points or so a month, with the usual ups and downs of course.

January Trainers to follow...

In truth my 'monthly' trainers have had a rubbish time of it so far this jumps season, unlike last year, for all the 'place' part is in steady profit if you prefer a more conservative approach.

I expand on all that in the post below, as well as highlighting four trainers it may pay to keep onside - of course, we need some jumps racing first! And this cold spell may have affected their ability to work horses at home as they'd have liked, so we'll see how the rest of the month goes.

Elsewhere... BUZZ...

2024 was a decent year on the track for our Racing To Profit Syndicate, with a fine end, thanks to our last two runners winning, Give Me A Boom and Tom Creen! We have a proven track-record of buying winners for a value price (£8k-25k), with much more to come...

Our 2024 in numbers...

68 runners / 7 winners / 27 Top 3 / 36 Top 5

10.3% Won (in line with some much bigger syndicates, and who spend a lot more)

40% Top 3

53% Top 5

Total Prize Money: £68, 739.83p

There's no feeling quite like cheering home your own horse to victory, nor the immense pride when they've given their all and been in the mix, which is often the case with our string (40% top 3, 53% top 5). Such excitement is one part of course, but sharing the journey with your fellow owners, who become friends, makes it even more special. It's the people, connections and community which really takes your Racing To Profit Syndicate experience to a new level, a sociable group like no other.

We can't wait for you to join us! :)

With x11 syndicate horses in training and 180 owners and counting, it's time to add our 12th... another northern based jumps horse, to go into training with the excellent Mark Walford (based in Sheriff Hutton, near York) (be quick, 50% already sold)

Introducing...Buzz Iceclear (Buzz)...pictured above, an ex Irish Pointer, just turned 5 (technically not 5 until June 2025). 16-1 hands tall. He's just at the start of his racing journey, and will strengthen up plenty in time, but is a great mover, very well put together, enjoys his racing, responds well to pressure... and is a superb jumper!

There's much fun to be had with him in the seasons ahead, as he makes his way over hurdles before a future career over fences in time. That's when he'll come into his own, but a few hurdle wins to be had before then! We do like our 'could be anything' jumpers and this is your chance to join us on his journey ahead...

Below, you can find out more, including a video 'walk through' from me of why we bought him, his point runs, a video intro from Mark, our plans, and much more...

That's all for today, thanks for reading,

All the best,

Josh
