Newmarket July Festival

I've spent the morning pulled together a report for this week's big meeting from Newmarket's July Course.

Inside you can find one 'trends' race for each of the three days - in truth it doesn't look the best of weeks for a 'big race trends' approach (well, not my approach anyway), not too much to get stuck into with the handicaps in focus, and a few of the other options have had single figure fields in recent years. Still, I'll see if they throw up any useful shortlists.

I've also researched a few trainer micro angles... 'the magnificent seven' who over the last eight Festivals are a combined...

206 bets / 67 wins / 32% wsr / +446 points BFSP

They've averaged +55 points to BFSP between them in recent years and obviously we'd all be delighted if they did so again. This game is rarely that easy of course but hopefully they help flag a few winners...
