Hello, Friend
The Flat is Back... Lincoln Trends & Trainers below...
I hope you're having a great week and enjoyed last week's Festival action. I've just about recovered from 'Festival Week', which finished with a friends stag-do in Galway, which was great fun.
It was another profitable week on the blog, my total from the 15 races I played in ending on... 24 bets / 4 wins / 9 places (inc wins) / +41 points (advised, 2 point bets) (or +£205 to £5 bets)
My 'Festival Week' always end with The Midland's National which usually either saves my week or adds to the profits - it was a bit of both this time, with Beauport a welcome 17/1 winner as advised, all on the nose, a glorious effort from rider and horse. My four days at HQ were so-so but I still clambered to a 7 point profit, as always a couple of winners that got away, and I needed a biggie or two for a handsome week, but that's the game and I can't complain too much! The RTP regulars enjoyed themselves, we cheered a few winners and made a bit of money, job done. Plenty used my trends shortlists a bit better than I did at times, including landing on the Albert Bartlett winner at 33s.
My trends/trainers lists found plenty of winners, as did a few micros I researched. All good fun, and profit is profit. This year's 'Festival Week' haul took me past +200 points since 2016s Festival, which was the first one I attacked properly on the blog. Not too bad for 45 race days and counting. Solid. :)
However, you can only look back for so long in this game, Aintree will soon be upon us, my favourite week of the year, mainly as I attend and am not chained to my desk - for all next year I really should do Cheltenham.
Before that, there's plenty to look forward to, including a return of The Flat!
Somehow on the blog two years ago I landed on the 33s winner of The Lincoln, Johan making all, and I've pulled together some Trends & Trainers for this years race... it also includes my trends shortlist etc...
