Subject:Ā šŸ‡šŸŸ¢ Another 14/1 winner! Same again today?

Good Morning, Friend

To Aintree we go...

Well in typical fashion I didn't send you a winner on Friday, in what was a frustrating day, but thanks to some EW returns, not too much damage done. On another day Strictlyadancer would have won, the standing start doing him no favours, but of more concern was the 3 or 4 very slow jumps early, losing lengths at each fence, which was very unlike him. Ultimately that's cost him, alas. That's racing.

Thankfully those of you who signed up to my 21 Day Trial on Friday were rewarded, as from my five picks on Saturday I had an 11/4 winner in Elvis Mail, and a 14/1 winner in Hyland, which wasn't in much doubt from some way out. Happy days!

14/1 winners at Cheltenham are always to be enjoyed. Nicky was 1/3,2p in the race previously and that was my 'way in'. Race fit, dotted up last start, yard in form, unexposed 3m, races handily, job done! There was a 4th (EW return) and a 2nd to boot also.

I haven't been in this sort of form for sometime but my 'racing brain' is in the best place it's ever been in, and I'll try and keep it up.

That's two 14/1 winners in the last three Saturdays, what with The Shunter winning the CES. Plus 15/2, 8/1 and 10/3 winners in that time also, numerous placed horses, and the stats qualifiers continue to fire out winners, as do my 'eye-catchers'.

The Members' Telgram chat is buzzing and all in all, we're having an enjoyable start to the jumps season. I'll do my best to keep it up!

Graham Williams was probably a bit too effusive in his praise, but I'll take it...

"Thanks Josh. Brilliant picks and a world class service"

I wouldn't quite say 'world class' but it's not for the want of trying!

I've got six horses today I fancied, and I've posted one of them down below. I'd best not curse the others!

But if you want to find out who they are (at 4/1, 14/1, 25/1, 7/1 and 5/1) click the big green button below!  (you can use card or Paypal, with one of the most secure systems around)

Don't forget, it's risk free... yes yes you have to pay 99p but if it's not for you come day 21, I'll happily refund that 99p if requested!

And don't fear the 'automatic payments' - you know me by now, if you meant to leave but paid accidentally, I'll just refund you, no drama. You know where to find me :)

We'll have a lot of fun in the weeks ahead and I wouldn't want you to miss out. Even for Ā£5 bets, those who followed me in yesterday have nearly paid for a Winter Season Ticket. Heck, we have a lot of fun for Ā£2 wagers, and there's nothing wrong with that!

Still, as always, there's lots for you to muse over, to make your own punting decisions, and you get to read or watch how I think, and how I do things. Which may, or may not, help with your own punting. That's even before I get onto the shrewdies who post on the blog and in the Members' Telegram chat group. All good fun, which is the main aim! But profit along the way so far.

Moving onto today... and I may have used up all my luck yesterday, but here's hoping...

12.50 Aint ā€“Ā Prairie Wolf ā€“ 6/1 ā€“ 13/2

Notesā€¦

Prairie Wolf ā€“Ā I felt like I had to back him here after his Warwick effort when put up EW at a nice price, chasing home Hyland, who obviously franked the form at HQ yesterday, in a solid handicap. Another horse in behind has since won also. There is more to come from this 6YO and he shaped over that 2m5f as if 3m could well be his trip this season ā€“ whether itā€™s his trip in softer ground, I donā€™t know. Iā€™m not sure whether to believe the official going description or not (Good to soft, soft in places), they havenā€™t mentioned how much rain they had during Saturday daytime, (locals say it was pouring down), and the going stick (4.6) would suggest testing enough. So, I donā€™t know! For now Iā€™ll trust the clerk, itā€™s fresh ground, and maybe itā€™s taken it well. I suppose the trip is still a question for him, I think he was ā€˜over the topā€™ on his only go last season, final run. Heā€™s handled soft/heavy over shorter previously, and he has race-fitness on his side, which could count for plenty. In any case, enough there at 13/2 despite the odd risk, evidently he has to be winning another handicap hurdle at some point! (if it's not today, do track him!)

I did look atĀ EquinusĀ at 5/1, for Twister (since well backed, eek), as I think more to come this season. He looked raw last season, did get a win, and some of his form has a strong look to it, and heā€™s got a decent 10lb claimer on, although claims 10lb for a reason! I could ā€˜assumeā€™ fitness given the yard, but he hasnā€™t won fresh as yet, and he does also have to prove his stamina ā€“ I suppose the lack of a run/unproven stamina, was enough to put me off, but I wouldnā€™t be surprised if he ran a monster race here, they must think he wants 3m, and one to keep an eye on. He will enjoy the ground.

That was my shortlist of two, we'll see if I was right or not.
