To Chester, via Ascot!

Using the superb Geegeez Gold (don't forget to sign up for your must have Free account HERE >>>) I've had a dive into Ascot and Chester for a bit of fun.

3.25 Ascor - Saint Lawrence 8/1 (EW if you wish, I thought maybe all or nothing, but no doubt a decent 2nd now!)

3.40 Chester - Rosenpur - 7-15/2, EW 4p

Chance on former, first run new yard, K Ryan, wind op, headgear off, only turf win for Archie W was Wokingham 2023, CD, off OR100, 16lb higher. Evidently a much much better race than this, but a chance not force he was, for all York run off 92 last Aug ok. OR84 today. I just found it interesting they start him off here, could have had pipe opener in north, only runner on card, Stott on, not the best race. A fair bit of pace on paper around him, to sit off, and come with a late rattle. Maybe this is a pipe opener, or to set up for a return here, but at 8/1, I was happy to pay to find out. If they got him back to 85% of his best, he'd beat these, but one to track regardless given his mark, I'm sure he will pop up somewhere if not today, maybe back up North/York.

Rosenpur just loves it here, may get an easy lead or certainly be in box seat, straight course form poor/untidy start Muss, so will ignore. Was 2nd to Roman Dragon in a C2 at last years meeting over 5f, stays 6f i think (wins 5f but placed over 6f/7f), a chance capper has him, maybe hence EW, but to my eyes, with race fitness onside, course form, inc better races than this, looked worth a dabble. If he runs to his best, I struggled to see him out the 4.

Thanks to those of you who watched my last couple of Youtube videos, pleasing to land on a 9/2 winner yesterday at Chester, joining Stupido at 15/2 from Day 1. All good fun. We will see if I can continue such form into today!
