This has got to be a sign of the end of times, but I'm joining TikTok. Facebook has decided to start charging to post links, because apparently they don't make enough money. I haven't been as active as I should on Facebook anyway, but now I'm just mad, so I'm overreacting and joining a new social media. When I asked my teenage son which one I should try, he didn't hesitate. TikTok is king.

Now, I know nothing about TikTok, so this has been a steep learning curve. I plan to start making some videos about my books (so far, my favorite one is a slideshow of the book covers with the first line quoted underneath it). I haven't posted anything yet because I'm still learning.

Are there any authors you guys follow on TikTok? Anyone who's making cool content that you can point me towards so I can learn and not embarrass myself (too much)? Any dos or don'ts I should be aware of?

Also, is anyone else confounded by the fact that when you're scrolling TikTok, there's no video titles? You have no way of knowing what the video is about if you don't click on it? My brain HATES that. Sigh. This is going to be a challenge.
