April's book giveaway UNCLAIMED prize up for grabs

1st prize: A Version of The Truth & Salt Lane

Hi Friend

Firstly, I wanted to thank you again for joining my readers group. Readers are the lifeblood of a writers career. You are the most important people to us!

I'm sure you'll agree its been a lovely week. And I hope you are enjoying this sunny spell? Great for reading in the garden with a nice cuppa or your favourite tipple. I would love to hear about any great books you've read recently?

But today, my main focus is to tell you about an unclaimed prize from Aprils book giveaway. So far this year I have given away Â£336 of brand-new books. However, occasionally people don't claim their FREE books prize, so I think it's only fair to offer that to another group member.

Whether you want to explore the remote Kent coastline in the murderous CWA Dagger nominated - SALT LANE, or uncover the dark truth however terrible it may be in A Version Of The Truth. These two books are gripping murder mysteries with psychological twists and turns that will provide you with endless hours of reading.

I'm rambling on now so I'll get to the point. To get your hands on this unclaimed prize, simply email me at - info@jfburgess.co.uk and tell me where to send it.

1st prize: A Version of The Truth & Salt Lane

Books for fans of LINE OF DUTY

The KILLER SHADOW THIEVES

Widowed detective DI Tom Blake sets off a chain of events that change his life forever, when the brutal murder of an alcoholic skinhead, and arrest of a vicious Turkish loan shark, unwittingly disrupts a dangerous drug gang’s daring plans to steal the world-famous Staffordshire Hoard.

As the gang's leader begins a raunchy affair with the sultry Kat Osborne; a married woman with an agenda, Blake’s daughter is kidnapped and the trail propels the bereft detective on a personal quest to save her life. Operating outside the law, he enters into an illicit showdown with the gang, almost costing him his life.

As the body count rises, Blake and his team struggle to unravel the conspiracy of shadowy killers who leave no trace.

There are so many great dramas on TV at the minute I'd love to hear what your favourites are? My wife Rachel and I, and even my fifteen-year-old daughter Emily have been glued to the box over the last few months. It seems with the rise of Netflix, both BBC and ITV have seriously upped their games.

Have you read anything good lately?

Thanks for keeping in touch!

Best wishes
