For skilled newcomers with experience and education in a regulated or unregulated profession - Career Paths can provide you with the tools and support to launch your career in BC!

 This info session will introduce you to a comprehensive new employment program intended to help you launch your career in your field of expertise. Please bring your resume and PR card for the pre-screening process.

This event is a partnership between ISSofBC and the Vancouver Public Library.

For internationally trained immigrants in the fields of engineering, nursing and law - join us for a panel discussion on accessing these professions in BC. 

Expert Panel:

Eleanor Guerrero-Campbell - Author of "Stumbling through Paradise" on the issue of newcomers accessing professions in their field of expertise.

 Silvia di Blasio - Certified Career Counsellor and Life Coach; Case Manager of Career Paths for ISSofBC.

William Chan - Career Coach for Career Paths at Douglas College (health professions focus).

Dulce Cuenca - Employment Relations Officer at a national labour union. Expert on human rights, employment and labour law.
