Future U Conference: IT skills in tech jobs - We are so excited to announce our upcoming career conference - Future U! This year's conference focuses on IT skills in tech jobs - and specifically, what skills you need to get hired and advance your IT career in Canada. Don't miss your opportunity to network and hear from IT employers and trainers on IT industry trends in BC and how to plan for them. This year's conference takes place October 16th, 10am - 4pm at VPL's Central Branch. This is a free event but seats are limited! Register now HERE to secure yours. Career Paths is expanding! - We are now able to serve more clients through the Career Paths program! If you were not eligible for Career Paths before, you might be now if you are: 
  • An internationally-trained Software Engineer/Designers, or a Computer Network Technicians seeking employment in your profession 
  • Unemployed and with experience in an unregulated profession
  • Underemployed - underemployed clients are no longer required to be working a certain number of hours per week.

Join us in this free workshop and learn how to prepare for an interview, understand what the employer is looking for with each question, close the interview and create a lasting impression and professional follow up.
