Social Media for Job Search A free workshop for permanent residents, live-in-caregivers, naturalized Canadian citizens, refugees, refugee claimants and provincial nominees. Join us for this workshop on July 25, 10am - 1:30pm and learn to use social media to find “hidden” opportunities in the job market. Learn to create a great online impression, keep up-to-date in your sector and help recruiters find you! Workshop takes place at the Maple Ridge ISSofBC office (#320 – 22470 Dewdney Trunk Road.) Sign up for *Free* Workplace Communication Training for IT Professionals - The Language and Essential Skills (LES) program is designed to support IT professionals who are looking to advance their careers in Canada. LES teaches the workplace communication skills you will need to find a job in IT and move up the ladder. If you're an IT-trained newcomer, whether you're currently employed or not, this program will help you get the job, fit into a team, communicate your ideas, and understand workplace practices. Our next LES session begins September 13th. Join us for an info session either online or in person:
