Resume and Cover Letter Writing Workshop - New West- A free workshop for permanent residents, live-in-caregivers, naturalized Canadian citizens, refugees, refugee claimants and provincial nominees. Develop skills to create a targeted resume, learn to write strong cover letters and gain the attention of local employers, and get help with preparing a reference list to complete your job search tool kit! Sign up for Skills and Supports for Job Success! - If you or someone you know is struggling to find work, Skills and Supports for Job Success is a program developed to help with finding employment. This free 10-week Job Readiness program offers:
  • 5 weeks of full time classes to help you learn effective job search strategies
  • 5 weeks of work experience to connect you with local employers
  • And 12 weeks of follow up with a case manager to offer you ongoing support after you complete the program
