Job Fair Ready and Resume Clinic - Learn how to stand out and impress employers at job fairs and get advice on how to brush up your resume from a career counselor! A free workshop for refugee claimants, protected persons, permanent residents, live-in caregivers, temporary foreign workers and naturalized citizens. Skills and Supports for Job SuccessRecruiting now for Skills & Supports for Job Success! A free job readiness training program, including 5 weeks of full time classes that prepare you for the workforce. Learn about the hidden job market, resume writing, interview skills, your transferable skills, how to connect with employers, and much more. Classes are followed by several weeks of work experience or a supported job search. Short term certificate training may be available. To register for the 10-week Vancouver session, call 604-684-2123. To register for the 11-week Coquitlam session 604-684-6199. Both sessions begin February 26.
