A couple of awesome events in November for anyone interested in a career in BC's public school system and for aspiring entrepreneurs!

Career Pathways in BC's Public School System - There are more than 500 teaching and non-teaching positions (IT, accounting, transportation etc.) available in the BC public school system that need to be filled! The Recruiter Coordinator from Make a Future: Careers in BC Education is coming to ISSofBC's Terminal location November 16 from 3-5pm to talk about their hiring process and provide some tips on resume writing. Speakers' Panel: Immigrant Stories of Success in Entrepreneurship Be inspired by immigrant business owners as they share their triumphs and challenges in starting their own local business! Learn about and connect with available resources with our Speakers’ Panel. November 16, 6-8pm at Douglas College's David Lam campus in the Atrium. Light refreshments will be provided. Free event but registration is required.
