Expose Yourself! How social media can help - or hurt - your job search - This free workshop will give you all the tools to create a winning social media presence to help boost your job search. Bring your laptop or tablet: you'll receive free personal coaching on how to enhance your LinkedIn profile. We'll also have a professional photographer onsite to take free professional head shots for your LinkedIn profile! Event takes place Wednesday, October 25, at the Surrey City Centre Library (Rm. 418), 2pm-6pm. Register HERE in advance to reserve your seat, or email careerpaths@issbc.org.  

Educational Grants and Career Options Talk - For live-in caregivers and job seekers in Vancouver, as well as anyone targeting a career in IT, construction and engineering - explore training, education and financial assistance options available to you to help you launch your career. Enjoy karaoke and refreshments while networking! Friday, October 27th at the Philippine Labour Office (suite 611, 999 Canada Place, Vancouver), 6-8pm.
