Preschool students celebrate holiday season with visit from Santa

ISSofBC Welcome Centre Preschool students sang Jingle Bells last Friday to help Santa Claus find his way to their afternoon Christmas party. For many students, this was their first time to meet Santa!

Recruiting now for Skills & Supports for Job Success- Join this free job readiness training program to prepare you for the workforce followed by several weeks of work experience or supported job search. Short-term certificate training may be available. Program runs January 15 to March 24, 2018 in Vancouver and Coquitlam.

Rebranding of Settlement Employment to Job Quest - Job Quest is an ISSofBC employment program focusing on helping multi-barriered immigrants and refugees finds jobs or training in their areas of experience or interest.

MAPLE 2.0 for Syrian Refugees  - Syrian refugees looking to gain Canadian work experience can now receive mentorship placement opportunities and one-on-one employment support through the ISSofBC MAPLE 2.0 program.

Literacy & Essential Skills Training Program - IT professionals interested in career advancement in Canada may be eligible to take a unique10-week training on oral and written communication in addition to connecting to employers, mentorships and ISSofBC services. 

ISSofBC Refugee Readiness Hub - This online hub offers current news, events, resources, success stories, videos and more relating to the refugee resettlement efforts across British Columbia.
