  • IRCC has extended temporary service provider arrangements that enable Government Assisted Refugees to be settled in communities across British Columbia until June 2018. The Inter-Cultural Association of Victoria (ICA) will continue as a RAP Contribution Agreement holder, and the ISSofBC-led hub and spoke model will see GARs settling directly in Abbotsford, Nanaimo, Kelowna and Vernon.
  • IRCC has finalized 2017 GAR targets for British Columbia. Vancouver is anticipated to welcome 720 Government Assisted Refugees in 2017. An additional 180 GARs will be destined to smaller centres, including:
