1. How to Win Speed Interviews at Hiring Fair


Are you planning to attend the Hiring Fair hosted by Natural Factors (see below #3 event for the details)? If the answer is yes, this workshop scheduled for Monday, January 20, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, at Coquitlam City Centre Library may be what you need to get ready. The address of the library is: 1169 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam.

During this 2.5-hour group workshop, Evelyn Levy, Career Facilitator of Job Quest Program at ISSofBC, will discuss:

1. How to leave a strong first impression during the short time of speed interviews
2. Tips for keeping contact with the Hiring Manager to win job offer

2. How to Become NDEB-Certified Dentist (webinar)

On Monday, January 20, at 5 pm, Dr. Anilkumar Gopi will be guiding recently landed internationally trained dentists to make sense of the re-certification process. The National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) is the regulatory body that governs the re-certification process.

We will be hosting this event via livestream webinar. As such, you can participate in this presentation and discussion at the comfort of your home or office.

Main topics covered during this webinar are as follows:

1. Steps involved in preparing for the board exam
2. How to access low-cost funding to ease financial burden

3. Hiring Fair Hosted by Natural Factors

Natural Factors is a leading nutritional products manufacturers and distributors in North America. Partnering with ISSofBC, Natural Factors' Head Office will be hosting an open house and hiring fair on Thursday, January 30, from 10 am to 2 pm. The address of the Head Office is: 1550 United Boulevard, Coquitlam.

Current job vacancies of high need: Machine Operators and Warehouse Operators. Job applicants are expected to bring their current resume and ready for speed interviews.

Unsure how to manage the speed interview? No problem. Attend the event #1 "How to Win Speed Interview at Hiring Fair" to sharpen your interview skills. Remember to register early to receive an admission ticket before the event.

4. How to Become A Registered Immigration Consultant of Canada (webinar)

Thinking of a career as Immigration Consultant? At the earlier stage of the licensing exam study and wish to know more about this profession? Need extra financing to reduce financial pressure? If any of these scenarios describes you, consider attending this webinar.

Hui Zhang, a Committee Member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants for British Columbia Chapter, will be sharing insights about entering into this profession on January 28 at 2 pm. Please note that this will be a webinar event. Registrants are not expected to attend in person rather we encourage early registration so that we can send you the webinar access method a day prior to the event.
